I would definitely recommend Silver Glen Senior Living to others. The facility itself is great, the rooms are really nice, and everyone seems so nice and welcoming. Another great thing they have is they work with a company that provides Physical therapy, Speech and OT on the premises.. so we've been taking advantage of that with my mom. So convenient to have that in-house and not have to drive to appointments!
I am very happy with the care that my mother is getting at this very nice and home feeling community. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. I like that the community is clean. <y mother is really liking the activities and she likes what is offered. We would highly recommend this small community for great care and value to other families.
I am very content living at Heritage Woods. My apartment is very comfortable and convenient. The nurses and CNAs are very attentive and convenient. The food is good and I may also eat in my room if I so desire. There are activities every day. Also a small store 2 days a week.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home provides room and board to at least two individuals who are not related by marriage or by blood to the administrator. This type of establishment provides its residents with 24-hour care by registered nurses. These nurses provide care for those who cannot adequately take care of their own needs.
This type of community is a helpful and comfortable living option for persons 65 years or older, however nursing homes will take in individuals 55 and older infrequently heard of in senior care regarding different care types. Many residents of nursing homes might have behavioral problems, which can consist of a tendency to wander, resisting assistance, or verbal outbursts. There are some services that may come at a cost to residents which can include special care services not included in the community’s Medicaid payment, flowers and plants, and personal clothing. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to have protections against involuntary transfer or discharge, be free from restraints, make complaints, and spend time with visitors. Many residents are bachelors or widows with smaller social support groups, and about fifty percent of nursing home residents are older than the age of 85. Nursing homes are required to provide routine personal hygiene items, room and bed maintenance services, specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), and pharmaceutical services to residents.
