Only been at HH for slightly over a year but have found all the nurses and staff to be very friendly and helpful, always willing lend me a helping hand when I need it. I enjoy the many little features that are provided, which are not provided in other living environments. Every week a new menu for all the meals for the ensuing week, an Activities calendar the month with live entertainers at least every 2 weeks, exercise programs almost daily, games and social get togethers, and religious sessions for those who want them. In all, HH is organized to help the residents enjoy their stay. I almost forgot to mention the providing of transportation to medical appointments off campus. This has allowed me to sell my car and save money. The drivers are friendly and our chats have been enjoyable. Needless to say, I like HH and living here. It is now HOME to me.
Our loved one has since passed but she had moved into The Heritage of Green Hills which is a new facility that looks like a 4-star hotel. There were lots of different events, nice and friendly staff and better help.
They did a good job catering to his food preferences, the staff was super friendly and super with him, care was outstanding. We would most definitely recommend this community to other families.

For many seniors, cost of owning a home might deter them from enjoying an otherwise independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities offer a great alternative to this situation. Occupants may live their lives as they wish while their food is cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and social activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they prefer. While policies differ between locations, a number of residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with independent care providers as desired. There are a number of advantages and costs to consider when selecting an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are included in the service plan: internet access, utilities, field trips, laundry, private phone, move-in fee, Waiting list deposit, and initial assessment fee. The conveniences associated with independent living include security guards, transportation, game/TV room, golf course, community activities, restaurant-style dining hall, fitness center & swimming pool, and laundry service.
