I gave a -3 overall because the communication and consistency of staff would both be -2. There is a lot of staff turnover and poor communication (along with very inconsistent quality of food) have been disappointing- but my sense is that there are no other options for a place like this in this price range. Positively the access to therapists and medical care has been really wonderful. More active help in that area than expected. Activities also seem good - though on pause at the moment from Covid.

The meals and dining have gone done hill since I moved in to the community. There is a new chef starting next week. There are two meals a day served to the residents. The staff are fairly friendly. The cleaning is sometimes utilized by the staff in the community. There is music that encompasses all types of music, trips, and more for the residents to chose from to participate in for activities.

The staff there is really working so hard to make it a good experience for all the residents. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

The apartments at Ashbridge Manor were lovely. My loved one just needed more assistance than was offered in independent living.
The community was nice during our tour. This community wasn't the right fit for our loved one.
I have been very very pleased with my experience at Ashbridge Manor. I have a wonderful kitchen where I am able to do all of my own cooking which I love.
Ashbridge is a nice place, u must pay for cable + phone. Available units were small + cost more than I thought. Otherwise there are few expenses. Laundry not in units.

We chose Ashbridge Manor because of the location as well as there were more men in the facility so he would be able to interact more. A lot of other places we saw were more women. The apartment sizes here are great, the ground floor on one side has patios and they cost a little bit more. There have been restrictions due to covid so we are excited for things to open back up. I would highly recommend them.

The community is a great value and I feel this community is the best independent living option in the area. They really were accommodating during covid and went the extra mile. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

I find the community is very friendly. The community has been on lock down and I feel it has kept us safe. This has allowed us to have no cases of COVID. The activities prior to COVID they had: Music, games, pinochle. They even have delivered food for those that have that program. I've made great friends. I'm able to bake goodies and give them away to other residents and they enjoy them.

Everything has been shut down, and I am not happy here. There did do bingo, but they have to have everyone spaced out with one person per table max. I am not happy here due to no activities and everything being on lock down. It is not what I was expecting at all. It was not with the brochure was made up, and we were supposed to have someone clean our apartment every week. I am still waiting for someone to come in to clean my apartment, and it has been four weeks. Their excuse is they don't have the help and it is due to the virus. I believe we should receive a rate reduction.

Ashbridge Manor is a very friendly place. I feel it is a very good value. My mom has not been overly pleased about food now that it is being delivered to the room, it is much different then when they were serving in the dining room. It is hard to judge things while they are under quarantine.

Very clean, nice, warm & friendly environment however felt it was a glorified apartment complex. Had some nice amenities, however the people engagement, which is VERY important to us, we questioned. There is no buddy/ambassador programs in place which we feel is necessary to get and keep residents engaged. No balconies would be a push back from my mother. Overall, however, the facility and staff were very nice and will keep on the list.

Ashleigh the tour was great. [Name removed] did a tremendous job in showing me around, Ashbridge Manor. They have a lot going on there. The apartment was just perfect. I do not meet the income requirements for living there, very disappointing. They are looking for an income level around $3600 per month but I only have an income of $2500 per month. I do not have any asset to cover the difference. I was very impressed with the facility just wish I could have met the requirements. Thank you, [name removed]

They promise the world and can't live up to it. It is a Senior Living Community; however, the tour guide markets as an assisted living community. The hallways and elevators are oppressively hot in the summer and not climate controlled. The garbage room not far from the cafeteria smells of spoiled milk and filth. The laundry room has machines that are at least 20 years old and some do not even work. Everything has a hidden charge. Management is unresponsive and unprofessional. There is no security.

A Place for Mom has scored Ashbridge Manor 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
