My father in law is doing okay here at this community, he is still adjusting, but they are caring for him well. We do feel comfortable with his move to this community, it is a nice place. [Removed] is amazing. She was great to work with, she was very helpful, and understanding. The front desk receptionist isn't very pleasant, but the rest of the staff is very kind, and helpful. His room is well maintained when we visit, but the guest restroom could be better maintained. They have been very accommodating, and this is a community I would recommend.
The staff at the East Northport Bristal is always kind. They always have a smile on their faces and are genuinely sweet and loving to my mom. The facility is ALWAYS spotless and beautiful to live in or visit. The only area I see occasional improvement for is the food. It is not always hot and more fresh veggies needed. The personal care and overall facility is excellent.
I have toured many assisted living before deciding to place my family member here. I am so pleased with the decision! You can tell the management truly cares about us and it stems off into all the other workers. [Name removed] went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and I would recommend this place to anyone looking!

For many seniors, the cost burden of home ownership and the maintenance of daily tasks and chores might deter them from an independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities provide a great remedy to this situation. Daily needs such as the scheduling of social activities and meal planning are taken care of, which provides seniors more free time to live life as they desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they choose. While policies differ between communities, many residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always utilize the services of independent health care professionalls. There are a number of advantages and expenses to keep in mind while deciding on an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are included in your plan: laundry, housekeeping, private phone, transportation, meals, cable TV, initial assessment fee, and utilities. The luxuries associated with independent living include healthcare center, laundry service, beauty salon & barber shop, private rental hall, game/TV room, transportation, restaurant-style dining hall, and security guards.
