The Mews

The Mews is the perfect place for our mom. The staff is friendly and attentive and its small size makes it easy for her to get acquainted with all of the residents. The food is excellent and she is enjoying the many activities. We rate it a 10 out of 10! A hidden gem in Greenwhich and very affordable

What we like the most about The Mews community is that it is just a well run and friendly place. The staff team there is always trying to help and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to others and have already recommended them.

We picked this community because of the location, amenities, attitude of staff and cost. I would recommend highly.

I picked this community, because this was the first and only facility I looked at and fell in love with it at first sight. It is in a most desirable neighborhood. It is close to highways. It was immaculate and had no offensive odors. The staff appeared to be caring and knowledgeable. It had lovely rooms for activities, an atrium, a library, and an interesting history..They had no availability when I looked in November, and I put myself on a waiting list, it felt like it had all the things like home and I felt I would be happy there. So far I still feel that way, one gets a lot of value with the trips and activities and a full life for a senior..

We chose The Mews mainly because of the value for the money. But then the people there and the friendliness and inclusiveness of the staff and the residents really sealed the deal. The apartment sizes are very nice, my mother is very happy with hers. I would absolutely recommend The Mews and already have.

The Mews is a unique, medium sized community in Central Greenwich. It's friendly, clean - and according to our Mom, the food is delicious. Most importantly, the staff are there because they truly care about the residents. For residents who are mobile, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the outside, whether in the lovely courtyard, walking on the adjacent track, or visiting Greenwich Avenue which is one block away. It's a great relief to see our Mom happy, safe, and making good friends.

I have already referred someone to this community and they are moving in right now. They have activities like movies everyday after dinner and on the weekends, they have work out programs in the morning, a book program every week. They also have games in the morning, bingo and more for the residents to do to stay busy in the community. They also even have a concert coming with the town symphony and the bus is going to take us to see it. This community is downtown and you ware able to look out at the garden and there is also a closed in porch and you are able to see a lot.

The Mews at Greenwich provides a safe, pleasant, and vibrant environment for seniors, right in the beautiful downtown Greenwich. My mother moved in 2 years ago and is extremely happy with the Mews. We were able to pick a new color to paint her room. The staff helped to put the furniture in place. The Mews Administrator [name removed] and his staff have done a fabulous job to keep the residents safe throughout the COVID-19 crisis. My mother and our family are very grateful to every staff member from the front desk, housekeeping, kitchen/food service, nurses, technical, engineering, transportation, and administration for their dedication and first class services to the residents. I definitely rank it a 5 stars facility.

The Mews gave my mother-in-law a whole new life. In her 90s but with very few physical ailments, she was living alone and fading. We moved her to The Mews and have watched her blossom into a social, vibrant, witty member of a community. She has lots of new friends and loves the food :) When she needs help, the staff is very responsive and capable. Our entire family is so grateful for all you have done!

We could not have found a better assisted living community then the Mews. Our mom has been a resident for years and she really enjoys and feels comfortable in her home. The staff is wonderful, providing not only great nursing care but extenteding a friendly warmth to our mother wants and needs. Our relationship with the nursing and management staff gives our family a positive feeling that our mother is in the right place.

This is a very unique and caring community. It is not a corporate environment, so if that is your expectation, this isn't the right place for you or your loved ones. But, if you want independence and safety, with a warm and caring staff and administration, this could be the perfect place.

Not only was The Mews one of my favorite places to go after unable to see my grandma for months, it was a place where she was most comfortable and loved. No assisted living facility can compare to The Mews. The staff, no matter if they were private aids or in house- they were helpful, cared for her and laughed with her. The scrupulous attention the nurses had with her and all the other residents showed how they cared for everyone. The meals were hot, homemade and very delicious! She loved exercising with [name removed] and playing Bingo with fellow residents. I definetily recommend this amazing facility to everyone and ANYONE. Your loved one will be safe and cared for at The Mews! Thanks for caring for her and making her feel at home!

The Mews totally impressed me! I can't believe the loving care, nurturing and overall abundance of love shown by all staff to my Mom. I would highly recommend the Mews to everyone, truly a fantastic home for Mom with not a spec of institutional feel, just comfort.I feel secure knowing Mom is in such good hands when I can't be there.

What I observed at The Mews, was not very pleasant. There was no warmth felt by the woman that had given me a tour. There was a very musty odor on one of the floors that I toured. Was not too happy.

Very nice, but too active for Mom.
