My mom has been at Atria for several years. The Atria has a wonderful and welcoming community and the staff couldn’t be nicer. She enjoys many of the daily activities and the daily variety they offer. The dining room offers a variety of food and there is always something to choose from, even if it’s not on the menu. It also has a bistro who is more informal but also enjoyable. Religious services and transportation is readily available as are trip and rides for all different interests. I would highly recommend Atria Stamford!... Read more

The dining room and food prep leaves much to be desired. Food overcooked, out of essentials regularly. It is hard to rate the value without comparable residences. The best aspect is friendships with peers and that's up to individuals to foster. Physically place is ok and the staff are generally well trained. The aides are helpful and repairs are done in a timely manner. Activity department recently upgraded with new staff so we will see how it develops. I say it was the right move at the right time. I do not think the grass is greener...

Memory updated Here's a positive review for The Atria Stamford: I cannot say enough good things about The Atria Stamford. My 90-year-old dad moved in two months ago, and the care he has received has been exceptional. Initially, he was very reluctant and scared about the transition, but the staff has been so communicative and responsive, getting to know him on a personal level and helping him settle in. The change in him has been remarkable—his cognitive abilities, which had been declining since my mother passed a year ago, have stabilized, and he’s starting to show signs of his old self again. It’s been heartwarming to see. The front desk staff is equally wonderful, always personable and pleasant, and they keep me well-informed about my dad’s day-to-day experiences. It’s reassuring to know that he’s in a place where people genuinely care for him and are committed to making sure he’s comfortable, safe, and happy. I’m incredibly grateful to The Atria for everything they’ve done.

My mom was looking for an independent atmosphere where she could take care of herself, but be supported if needed. The staff at the Stamford Atria have been absolutely wonderful to my Mom and keep me informed when needed. My mom is more active now than she has been in many years. The apartment is perfect, clean, sunny and well maintained. The meals are plentiful with many options and choices at all meals, as well as a Café for lunches . The Atria also has all amenities on site, an on call doctor, beautician, library, card rooms, outside terrace, as well as they will drive my mom to any and all appointments locally. I can say enough nice things about the Atria Stamford.

So far, very good. But we are only a few months in. We picked this community because of quality care, good value, and proximity all played a role.

Everyone at the Atria Stamford is very friendly. The staff knows everyone by name and they go out of their way to make sure that you are happy ! There is an abundance of activities from morning until evening to choose from. All of which are not only entertaining but give you the chance to socialize.

From the time I arrived approximately 5 weeks ago everyone in this facility from the administration to the staff to the residents, have been very pleasant and willing to help. The wait staff makes an effort to remember our names and particularly our walkers. The food is excellent and the variety is incredible. I'm not used to eating so many full meals and sometimes I have to refrain myself from sitting down and skipping a meal. I have been participating in quite a few of the activities. They're lots of fun and gives a chance to meet new people. I even found a poker game twice a week. Thank you all for making me feel welcome

Atria is an unequivocally “go to” Assisted Living Facility! During my rehab at Atria, my recuperation was facilitated by the professional staff who provided competent, skilled, kind, and attentive care with all ADL’s,nursing, therapies, monitoring intermittently throughout the day, and prompt responses to calls for assistance day, and overnight. Only twice during my 5 week stay, did I wait longer than 5 minutes for help. Housekeeping was thorough and provided regularly, and nutritious, meal choices were consistently available in the attractive dining room.In addition, my quality of life was greatly enhanced by the super daily agenda of programming activities, featuring options of musical performances, concerts, lectures, movies, art classes, and “brain cell”stimulating games. I would return to Atria in a heart beat!!

If you email me your preferred contact information to CustomerService@AtriaSeniorLiving.com, I’ll have him get in touch.
My mom loves her apartment. She's made some friends. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. The food options at dinner are horrible (mom is a pescatarian) and the food offered for dinner isn't very good. Mom doesn't take advantage of breakfast or lunch, it would be helpful if they would deliver a meal to apartment at no charge. My mom does not go to any activities. I don't feel Atria did an adequate job helping to get mom involved. The Sales director ensured ahead would introduce mom to younger folks like her and have someone help her to get involved in activities but one she made the "sale" she didn't follow through on that.

There are some good activities, but I think there needs to be a heavier emphasis in on boarding new residents.

It’s just like home, I was always a crybaby since I was young I never liked change but when I moved here I fell in love with this place and the people. The people here are very friendly and I love making them laugh and happy. The activities program keeps you busy all day long if you want. The garden is one of my favorite places, it’s absolutely beautiful. The staff are tremendously helpful, kind, and eager to assist with whatever I need. Come and visit us!

Living at Atria is a positive experience for me. The atmosphere is pleasant and supportive with a variety of activities offered that have enhanced or introduced new interests. I have found the staff responsive to my needs with a caring manner - from the Wellness to the Activities Department, staff follow up with my requests or questions. I have particularly enjoyed guest art speakers and current affairs lecturers. I would like to see current movies offered. The services of the drivers greatly add to the Atria experience - they are well trained, caring and committed to the residents well being and safety - and unfailingly pleasant. The aides have shown me kindness and I have always found them pleasant. The Bistro is a great place to connect and renew with a friendly atmosphere and super offerings by the chef.

Any of the staff I have met in my room our outside are friendly and know my name which is comforting. The classes and activities I’ve attended have been helpful and I take psychical therapy here twice a week which is very beneficial to me.

I think the Atria Stamford community would be open to more activities if they are available. I like the fact that there is no reserved seating at meals. Our apartment is outstanding. I am always amazed that they run out of food stables such as breads or cereals or even fruit. Food service is perfunctory. However, if you need a well maintained assisted Living community with a dedicated staff you should consider the Atria Stamford.

We picked this community, because of the friendliest and cost. She absolutely refused to go but now there, she doesn't ask to go home. She has made friends and is eating well and is clean. The management team is excellent and I feel she is safe and well-cared for. I would recommend to other families.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
