We just started assisted living services and so far they've not been too good so that is affecting our rating right now. The food is pretty good. Up until now he hasn't needed any care and we're just starting out, but this is where we are. Value for cost - this is hard to answer right now, assisted living is extremely expensive and seems to be minimal care.

What our family likes the most about the Tradition Living community is her apartment which is nice and has plenty of space. Her kitchen has plenty of storage as well. The maintenance workers come and fix things quickly. We can come and go very easily.

The staff is friendly most the time. My father-in-law doesn't complain about the food very often, but would prefer more options for warm or hot breakfast. Lots of activity options which is great. He just doesn't want to do anything! But love the entry area where people will hang out and visit and the popcorn Tuesdays and the cookie Thursday.!

There are some improvements this community could make - they could be up to code for one thing. When we moved in our apartment was fifthly and still has not been cleaned correctly. The bathtub has grease built up, the dishwasher does not work correctly, the garbage disposal has rust on it and it could use new appliances. Access from the lobby to the garage, there is no handicapped accessibility so it makes walking difficult. The nursing elder care services are questionable - but we do know they are working on that improvement.

It's a great place. I like that they have a lot to offer as far as meals, activities, and aging in place. The apartment is smaller than we'd like it to be and maintenance can be a little slow, but otherwise, everything has been great.

Tradition Living was the first place that we toured and we just got a good feeling from the moment we walked in. I looked at about eight others places after this and we felt for the value, this was a better deal They are more affordable because they do it by the services you ask for. She has been very happy and fits right in with the other residents. he staff have been absolutely great. Very helpful and always available if we have any questions. The apartment itself is a very good size. We have been super pleased and would absolutely recommend Tradition Living to other families.

Tradition Living looked like an excellent facility. If it did not work out where we are now, this would have been our first choice. The cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the staff are two of the things I value the most and this facility had both of those things.
Our family had an in person tour and we really liked Traditions, the community is very clean, modern and has very nice common spaces. They did have good activities and a transportation system that took residents out to dinner, theaters and sport games. However they did not have anything other than one bedrooms available.
The staff is amazing and friendly they've kept us safe from the virus. The food is wonderful and the service is great. This is the only place I'd want to live for senior living.

I moved into Traditions [date removed] because of COVID - no visitors and all activities were canceled. This wasn't how it was supposed to be. The staff has been supportive and understanding, all residents are very friendly. Meals have been good and the kitchen has done an excellent job. I'm very glad I made the move.

The staff was super friendly. Management was very knowledgeable and truly care for seniors. The nursing department is great, knowledgeable, and caring. The marketing lady, I think her name was [name removed] was awesome, and really knew her stuff. [name removed] was very knowledgeable about all things with housing and social work. The activities department keeps the residents busy and engaged in the community. The executive director really has an all-star staff assembled with the shining star of the building being the amazing culinary department. The service staff is fine dining all the way, with the food to match. Tradition is truly one of the best senior communities in the area.

It is affordable. The units are better size than anything that I saw, originally built as condos. My mom likes the food. The layout is good. They have outdoor space for the residents to use. The staff has been amazing during Covid-19. Trying to keep the residents' spirits up.

I've been here 4 years now and love it very much, more each day. I enjoy meeting and helping new people and making them feel welcome. I love to play bingo and color and do other activities. I can come and go like I did in my townhouse and can help others too.

I moved here 2 years ago and it was the best move I ever made. It is like gaining another family. We all look out for each other and there is always someone to go to for help if you need it. If you care to participate there are many activities to join . The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Besides all this the food is excellent.

A Place for Mom has scored Tradition Living 7.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
