My grandmother was a past resident, i can't speak enough about the care. Staff were always so welcoming and kind to my family. We enjoyed the time we spent with her at the community and highly recommend those looking for senior living options.

The Laurels and The Haven in Highland Creek in Charlotte, NC
3.9

We had no big problems with the staff, with the exception of some medication communication. They were all very pleasant and treat my dad with kindness and respect. The place was always clean and smelled fresh without odors. My dad did enjoy the food and got to know the staff there well. Love the fact that if he did not show up in the dining room, they brought him a tray. Or he would choose to eat in his room ahead of time and order his tray. Other places charge extra for a tray to be brought to the room. My family would recommend The Laurels to others. We have had several family members there through the years. My dad was in respite care there and the room was furnished for him and was very well designed. If this location was closer to my home, he would have stayed there for a good while.

The Addison of Lincolnton
3.8

The meals are wonderful except dining room woman - our loved one was afraid of her gruffness. With the activities, given the amount of residents in the community, I suppose what The Addison offered was adequate. The Addison of Lincolnton was very quiet and peaceful community. There was availability for my dad at the time when he needed it most. The Addison of Lincolnton was not our first choice due to the lack of social activities that my dad was used to at his former community. He was a very social individual and was involved in many activities.
