5 for all. There has been some turnover of the front desk staff which has been disappointing for my Mom because she really likes them. The property is a nice setting, off the main road and lots of trees. Many activities to stay engaged. Apartments are spacious and many have their own balconies.

My Mom has been in Juniper for about 3 months now and is having a wonderful experience. She is absolutely thriving. The director [name removed] is so wonderful to work with. And I can't forget to mention how wonderful [name removed] is. The entire staff is so good to my Mom. This was the best decision we could have made.

My only issue is dining. They were put with two other couples. One guy died and my wife is a mess. Other couple has health issues and don't show up. My mom needs socialization. They need some other people.

Juniper Village of Forest Hills has proved to be the correct place for my brother to reside at this time. My family and I have had nothing but positive experiences. My brother enjoys his accommodations, food service, daily group activities and the care he has been provided. Every day the entire staff shows friendliness, kindness, and compassion when caring for my brother and the other residents. Overall it has been a positive experience.

I needed a place for respite care when I was going out of town and that is a place that our hospice company found that had a empty bed .

Only challenge has been the water pressure is weak. They have been working on it and it has improved. Initially it was bad. Could barely take a shower or get the shampoo rinsed out of her hair.

My Mother passed away about 3-4 weeks after entering Juniper Village. Our experience with them was good and especially with Hospice when they were called in after it was apparent mother wouldn't recover.

Not enough medical care when needed from the doctor that covers the residents as their primary doctor. He has too many patients with too many needs and made my mom wait all day to be seen and then she was never seen at all. We had to pick her up and take her to ER. She was also ignored when she told the staff repeatedly that she did not feel well. She was going into CHF and also had Atrial fibrillation and ultimately required a pacemaker that week. We ended up removing her from Vero so that her medical care could be supervised better. Very expensive but compared to home care costs, the value is reasonable. Only the wealthy or people with a long term care policy could ever afford it though. The other thing I forgot to mention that was concerning is that they do not have a cost cap. So their contract says they can raise the rent at anytime at their discretion and for a person with a fixed income, this could mean they might not be able to afford living there at some point and then they are stuck with no place to go because now they have sold their home and don't have a safety net anymore. A promise to always stay within her long term care budget would have made us feel a lot safer or at-least a cap of some kind.

Cold food wasn't cold, hot food wasn't hot. The meals were bland. They need a transport van. Wheelchair bound residents could not participate in excursions.

My sister and I have had nothing but good things to say about Juniper. Our stepmother is happy there. We are happy with everything that they’re doing with helping her and answering any of our questions I would recommend them to anybody.

Juniper Village is a very clean facility both inside the buildings and outside landscape. Very friendly staff. One of the reasons we chose Juniper. Mom is in independent living. We feel if help is needed, she would be taken care of. Mom makes her own meals. There are plenty of activities for seniors. We are very happy with the cost which is affordable for Mom's budget

My mother recently moved to the community. We are very pleased with the genuine care she has received. No place is perfect or like your own home, but Juniper has checked every box. It's affordable compared to other assisted living facilities in the area, it's safe, cozy and a nice place for her to socialize. It's a hidden gem that we are grateful to have found.

This was by far the best place of all that I visited. The whole feeling of the place is different. It’s bright and cheery. They have lots of activities. And the price is comparable to a lot of the other places. My loved one has been quite happy here.

I would give each category a 5, except maybe a 4 1/2 for quality of care because the main issue that my mom is having is the amount of bathing's she receives. They only bath her 2 times a week. For the amount of money she pays monthly to stay there, she should receive more than just 2. Overall She does love the place. Lots of activities during the week that keep her busy. The place is really kept clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating as well. As long as my mom is happy, that's all that matters

Invited, by my mother, to attend the family picnic event with my family. We entered Juniper and were greeted with open arms by the staff. It was a beautiful day and our family of 9 were able to sit outside to enjoy the wonderful food and drink offered. Delicious! Staff were so attentive and pleasant Thank you to all

I toured several places and I found Juniper to be the best match for my mother. The staff has been more than helpful getting her moved in and acclimated to her new life. When I went on the tour with [name removed]I felt a sense of ease. I felt as though he understood my whole situation and didn't just want to "sell". I was correct. Every time I turn around while visiting he is there to help. Same goes for the staff I have met so far. It is not easy taking this step and I feel from the minute I walk in the door everyone is there to help.
