Our initial sign up was in October but we’ve only been actual residents for two weeks. A few things that made us choose Juniper Village were the two bedroom unit size, closet space, location and value. We’ve had some small maintenance issues but nothing major so far. Residents we’ve met have been friendly and welcoming. Staff are also helpful and friendly. Food and dining experience has been good also. We’re still in the process of moving things from our old home into our new space but our overall first impressions have been favorable.... Read more

5 for all. There has been some turnover of the front desk staff which has been disappointing for my Mom because she really likes them. The property is a nice setting, off the main road and lots of trees. Many activities to stay engaged. Apartments are spacious and many have their own balconies.

It's a wonderful plane. There has been a recent change in the food service that my Mom is not happy with, but other than that we have been very happy. We picked this community because of the price. There was a move in special at the time

My mother-in-law worked hard her whole life and, like so many other seniors, deserves a pleasant, caring place to live her twilight years. She is 97 and lives independently in a month-to-month rental situation at Juniper Village (Bensalem, PA). In the short time she's been there she's lost one amenity after another as they tighten belts while raising rents. The place is very clearly privately owned and run for maximum profit. You are reminded of this every day as they strip away the most fundamental services promised to all who moved there. There has long been minimal and sometimes no medical staff on the premises. There is no doctor or even a nurse practitioner even for those in assisted living. Residents must see an outside doctor or get themselves to an urgent care center. Food service is pared back more and more. The small green house was closed down, though staffed by a resident volunteer. Staff will no longer help with bringing heavy groceries to your apartment. It goes on.

My Mother in law's stay at Juniper has been awesome. The staff is so friendly the other residents made her feel welcome from day one. Food is over all good (I do not like that you have to have reservations), some people are confused by this. If I didn't do this for her, she could not eat because she can not use the portal due to eye sight problems. Housekeeping is minimal for her because she is in independent living, so she gets it once a month and it has been good. Maintenance answers calls in a timely manner. Overall, I would highly recommend Juniper Village at Buck's County for a place that loved ones will feel safe and taken care of.

Once she moved into the full time medical facility in the basement the staff was not helpful / gave her the wrong meds / never able to answer questions and the room was absolutely disgraceful. Stains on the wall and floor. Looked like an abandoned hospital from the 70s.

I would recommend to others. Mom likes it there, and we picked it because it was close to relatives.

[name removed] makes you feel very welcome and assisted in transitioning into your new home. Room sizes are great in memory care. There are LOTS of activities provided for residents! They had a lunch set up for new residents , lots of support within community I really don't have any examples but they sat down with my Mom a few times to answer questions in person & on phone. Place was all ready when she moved in, whole process was smooth.

Juniper Village at Bucks County is a very clean place and staff was friendly. [name removed] (marketing) went out of her way to assist. She was very kind. My father in law did not care for the food (not sure what in particular)

January 23, 2024Thank you for sharing about your experience. We would love to hear more about what your father-in-law would like to see in his dining experience. We aim to accommodate special dietary needs and individual preferences as much as possible! Have a wonderful day.
The staff at Juniper Village at Bucks County is so caring, warm and friendly. They take such great care of my father-in-law. The move in process was easy and my father-in-law is eating double portions of the food so it must be good! I would recommend Juniper Village at Bucks County to family and friends.

Having worked in senior care for over 20+ years, I was very selective in what company I wanted to work for and represent. I am proud to say that I joined the Juniper Communities recently and am very happy with my choice. I am glad they selected me out of the candidate pool. Since day one the vibe in the community is upbeat, the residents get involved and participate in numerous fun activities, the residents are extremely welcoming and friendly, and the food quality is exceptional.

Overall, the best active senior community in Bucks County. I've visited several others and this one has the most for what I could afford. I'd recommend attending an on-site event or even have a meal in the 32 Club.

I toured this community while searching for a loved one. I found the atmosphere to be refreshing and each associate we encountered was friendly. We intend to come back for at least one of the outdoor summer concert series.

This place has such a good feel. I met friends for dinner in the 32 Club at Juniper about month ago and it was delicious. The coffee was good too. Of course no place is perfect but the people who work there are so attentive and genuinely seem to care. It's beautiful when you walk in the building. The outdoor patio area overlooks the creek - it looks like great spot to sit and read a book. The library is very nice and I like that it is managed by people who live there. The updates they have done in the last few years are beautiful and the building is clean. I always look forward to going back.

Like people everywhere, the staff varies greatly. The on call staff nurse and emergency crew have always gone above and beyond for any issues that may arise. I would definitely recommend Juniper Village at Bucks County to other families looking. Another thing we have been very impressed with is the community of residents that live there, they are great!

Response from Juniper Village at Bucks County
June 28, 2023Hi Karen. We do not have bed bugs in our community. Please reach out to us directly so we can learn more about your experience.
We had a scare and we were really happy with the way that it was handled and the way that we were kept informed the whole time. We were under quarantine and not able to come but they made sure that they kept us updated. There are so many activities and my loved one joins everything.

I would not recommend the Personal Care areas. Apartments are nice but if you need a higher level of care I would not recommend Junipe Village. Seems like staffing issues are a constant problem. I honestly don’t think my love one is getting the care they deserve.
