My loved one was previously a resident at Masonic Village. The housekeeping needs improvement. Not thorough. Communications is tops. The move in process was okay, no help provided. The food was really good. I'd recommend Masonic Village to others.

Masonic Village at Burlington was a very nice facility with great staff, the location was the only downfall. It was just way too far away and I wanted to be able to visit often.
We toured this community and it was wonderful! Very nice and caring staff!
My husband and I were looking for a friendly, caring community. We wanted to be able to live in our own home with an attached garage. We found exactly what we wanted at the Masonic Village and loved our choice. When he passed away after almost 2 years , I felt safe and loved. All my future needs can be met in this community

A family member who worked in a local hospital always commented on how residents at the Masonic Village always arrived for their appointments in clean clothes, always clean and neatly done. They always had positive comments of how happy they were to be living at the Masonic Villages. Many of the team members at the Masonic Village are very long term employees retiring after 30 or more years. As residents of the cottages this was a major point in making the Masonic Village community our choice for our retirement years.

November 17, 2020Many of our team members have been with us for decades because they truly love what they do. Thank you for choosing Masonic Village!
I am a 92 year old widower and have been a resident in an independent living one bedroom apartment at Masonic Village for over one year. The staff and personnel are very pleasant and helpful. My neighbor residents are also pleasant and helpful. I received a wonderful reception on my move in day. There were many activities available until Covid interrupted. Some have returned and they are appreciated. Lastly, dining services produces delicious offerings. I must be careful with my selections so that my weight is under control.

November 17, 2020Happy to hear team members and neighbors have welcomed you with open arms! Sounds like all your needs are covered.
My mom has lived at the Masonic Village at Burlington since 2012. During that time she has transitioned from an independent living apartment to assisted living and now she is in long term care. My family and I have been so thankful that she is in such a wonderful place with such caring people who have worked hard to make those transitions as smooth as possible. The care she has received has been outstanding, especially during the pandemic. Her move to the Masonic Village was an excellent decision!

November 17, 2020We're honored to care for your mother. Thank you for your feedback!
I have lived at the Masonic Village for over two years, arriving a year after the death of my wife. I made a deposit for an independent living apartment during the marketing luncheon and have never regretted the decision. The facility and the grounds are attractive and well-kept. The residents are open and friendly. The staff is caring and loving and deeply concerned with our welfare and health. The leadership here at the Masonic village has met the challenges arising and ongoing from the Covid-19 pandemic creatively and effectively. I am not alone in thankfulness and gratitude for the limitations and adaptations that were implemented during the times of isolation and quarantine. The staff continues to be observant and attentive to any new developments that are related to our health and welfare. My residence continues to be a good experience with ample opportunity for new friendships and community as well as activities and service to keep me engaged and active. My initial decision is surely validated.

Response from Masonic Village at Burlington
November 17, 2020We're thankful you choose us, and we're glad we met (and even exceeded) your expectations.
After 47 years in Burlington Twp, NJ, we moved to a Masonic Village, NJ, cottage. We liked what we saw and have been here two years. No regrets. The insides are spacious and comfortable. The outsides are well maintained and don't need my help. We like our independence and the freedom to move around and interact with neighbors. From the start they promised us carefree living and a family environment and delivered on both. Thanks to administration, staff, and neighbors for keeping us happy, involved, and fully satisfied. This is the best choice we could have made and the best place for us to live.

November 17, 2020And right in your backyard! We're glad you're living carefree.
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! We moved into one of the new cottages in the community a little over 2 years ago. It was the best decision we ever made. The cottage is lovely with its own attached garage and large front porch. It has a beautiful kitchen, which I rarely use, since I no longer wish to cook. Meals are selected and delivered, if you do not desire to eat in the dining room. No more cleaning, either - cleaning done every 2 weeks. Have made many wonderful friends - we are a very welcoming community.

We Love our Cottage and the community we live in. The Burlington area has as much social activity as you might want or not want. I appreciate living independently but know that there are people here committed to helping me navigate this again process.

November 17, 2020We're happy to have you in our community!
From Day 1 I felt a part of the Village family. I went to breakfast and was quickly joined by tow other residents who just wanted to welcome me. I found the staff to be very cheerful in carrying out their jobs and always ready to be of any assistance I received. a resident Volunteer came by my apartment with a welcome bag and spent well over an hour discussing the Village amenities, Volunteer opportunities and family like residents and staff. I have been asked by many friends how I like being here and always the answer has been positive because of the trust in both staff and residents. The Covid Pandemic has created issues but, it also has highlighted how much effort is expanded everyday in keeping all of us associated with the Village as safe and healthy as possible. Management recognized the risk to us and acted quickly and responsibly to minimize staff and resident exposure. I strongly recommend to anyone seeking a place to live or a place for a loved one for care to place the Masonic Village at Burlington high on their list of choices to be considered as it will be a wise choice for all. So many positive things to comment on but one word is "OUTSTANDING" which is enough!

November 17, 2020We appreciate your recommendation and for recognizing the efforts of our team members. Thank you!
Although I had set up and administered a 74, new apt. senior citizen bldg. with food services. When I was ready to retire my wife and I decided the availability of dining service (in addition to a complete kitchen) was a requirement for our retirement home. We received the literature from many retirement facilities and picked six to visit and test the dining rooms food and service. The Masonic Village proved to be the best choice based on living here since 2015.

November 17, 2020Thanks for choosing Masonic Village!
I moved my father into Masonic Home after a terrible experience at Care One in Moorestown. I could not be happier with Masonic Home!! My Dad is 93 and looks amazing. He went into Masonic with a feeding tube and really not doing well. After a short time the wonderful staff at Masonic made him healthier and happier than he had been in some time. He even eats on his own now! They are so nice and take really great care of my Dad. I am so much less stressed than I was when he was at Care “None”. I would give Masonic Home as many stars as you have and then some :)

November 17, 2020Thank you for sharing!
My wife and I decided several years ago that it was time to search for a place where we would be carefree and safe. We are both in our mid seventies and worried about a future where we would not be able to drive. How would we get around? What if there is a medical emergency? Will we be taken care of in the future when we may need more intensive care? We began to look at a number of facilities and found this place. The Masonic Village offered to guarantee us a spot for a small deposit which would also be fully refundable. We signed on, with only an architect's sketch of a cottage. For the next two years, we followed the progress of the construction of the village. As time went on we became more convinced that this would be the perfect place. The rehabilitation unit has an outstanding reputation, the medical unit is better than any we have visited, and the two memory care units have wonderful staff working with the residents. Since we moved in to our cottage, our prior ideas of the village have proved to be true. Oh, and did I mention that our cottage is wonderful. It is 2300 square feet with all of the amenities one would wish for in a home. We feel truly blessed to be here!

November 17, 2020Glad it was worth your wait. We're happy you're here and enjoying peace of mind.
We moved to the Masonic Village Cottages about 1 and1/2 weeks ago. I have not seen such friendly, helpful and wonderful people such as these who live here in a very long time. They make you feel right at home and part of their family. Anytime you need help with something there is always someone around to help you. If I had known people like this lived here I would have moved to the cottages long ago. My opinion of the Masonic village people including workers and everyone is "Great". They are outstanding in all departments. The staff here is very caring, friendly and helpful at all times. We have felt entirely comfortable, and very welcome since our move and we know it will continue to be this way. It is a very caring and giving place to be.

November 17, 2020We hope you've settled in nicely. Welcome to the neighborhood!
Masonic Village at Burlington is a wonderful place to live. The staff is courteous, helpful, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist residents. Fellow residents are friendly and you feel that you are among family members. During this pandemic, staff members are willing to run errands and check on us to make sure that we are okay. We are able to order all our meals and they are delivered to our homes. We can order additional food items so that we do not have to shop. I feel safe and feel that my wellbeing is of the utmost concern to the staff. I am happy living at the Masonic Village and I am so glad that I moved here.
