5 stars for all! The staff are super nice and caring. Only one negative would be that I think they need someone to man the door, sometimes it takes a while for them to let me in when I ring the doorbell. Sometimes I have to ring several times. If staff is busy I understand the patient care comes first, but there needs to be someone assigned to let visitors in.

People are very friendly and caring. They are staffing up a bit which is helping. Any issues we have had is directly related to not having enough people power to handle the demand. Overall, the car has been good. It is clean. The food is good. The activities are plentiful.

I'd say it would be a 5 all around. I've been very pleased. Right now if I had to choose for myself that is where I would want to go. Staff is very friendly, Professional, Knowledgeable, An eager to help in any way they are asked. It's more like a large family than a nursing care facility. It's just a great bunch of people doing their job very well.

Nursing Homes

A nursing home is a building that houses two or more seniors who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. This type of establishment offers its inhabitants around-the-clock care by registered nurses. These nurses provide care for seniors who are unable to take care of themselves.

Nursing homes can be a helpful and comfy care option for individuals 65 years or older, however nursing homes will usually admit individuals 55 and above which is for other senior care types. The most frequent mental disease experienced by nursing home residents is dementia, which can hinder their and familiarity with their surroundings, decision making capacities, and memory function. There are some services that may come at a cost to residents which can include personal reading materials, cosmetic and grooming items, and a private room, unless medically needed. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to have protections against involuntary transfer or discharge, exercise your rights as a U.S. citizen, be free from restraints, and get proper medical care. Examples of care services and amenities offered at nursing homes can include monitoring of medication, monitoring serious illness and unstable health status, injections, and bill pay. Nursing homes are required to provide medically-related social services, pharmaceutical services, specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), and nursing and related services to residents.
