I was impressed with the number of nurses they have on duty on the weekend. They are able to get someone in there right away when my mother needs help, so that's nice. The nursing care has been excellent. The place is always spotlessly clean. The staff has been so good and I really like that they do have someone with a medical background looking after my mom. The food is good but my mother is already complaining about the eggs. I don't think there is anyone in the universe who could cook an egg to please her.

The staff always returns my calls and have been very helpful in transitioning my mom over. I would say that they need to be more staffed to look after everyone. My mom needs a lot of care, but she still needs to be looked after. There are a couple of nurses that are hardworking and care but the staff hasn't been very attentive. If I ask them a question, they have to find another person to get an answer. The overall cleanliness needs help, especially in the dining room.

They have a professional staff, especially one of the nurses, but, I'm very sorry to report that we didn't have a very good experience there. For physical therapy, my wife did not get what she was prescribed by the doctors. So we were disappointed with the amount of physical therapy and occupational therapy, in fact, that's why we left. The housekeeping came in each day and I feel the sanitary conditions were good, but we could see that there are things along the wall that could have been swept up. But, it did really smell good. I think the individuals were very professional and friendly. There were a few aides who were outstanding. Not having any briefing on intake, or briefing on medications might have been the overall thing that tainted much of our stay.

My wife likes all of the nurses and there is one in particular that is really bubbly and outgoing.

My son was happy to go there and gently received by the people that work there. I like that they have report cards and that he has made friends. He likes to go to meals early so he can sit and wait for his friends so they can chat during their meals.

They are really good about making sure it is really clean here. They also have really nice nurses that go out of their way for patients!

This place is 100% better than the place my wife came from! The nurses are very good, very informative, and have a great system of organization. You can see an immediate difference when I walk in compared to other places! The communication has been excellent and my wife even enjoys the food.

I haven't had one nurse that wasn't friendly, it is just that they have to work so hard because there is a lot to get done with the number of people they have on staff. The meals are good but the portions could be a little bit more. The communication that I got about my wife was good! I just think that they are understaffed.

Overall, the staff is really great but my dad doesn't feel he is getting enough therapy. I also wish there was more communication coming and going than there is.

It has been a pretty good stay at Estrella Oaks. The meals are good but my mom's main complaints are that the food comes out warm and dinner is served at 4:30 pm. She would rather eat later at night. I haven't had any calls from them but they inform me on my mom when I am there.

My mom really like the activities that are offered here! She also really enjoys the people that work there and they do a good job with her. There is one nurse that is very friendly and does a great job of taking care of things for my mom. The food is not the best and they don't call me with updates. I do get information when I go in and visit.

I was very impressed with the nurses and doctors. They are really friendly and nice to the patients and that is awesome. The nurses did a good job at making sure that I was informed with any updates with my wife. The only thing that I would mention as needing improvement is the food. It wasn't that great.

So far we have not had a good experience with Estrella Oaks. My mom is not on the correct diet and the nurses have a stinky attitude.

I thought that the nurses were really nice but I did not like it that they did not have alarms for fall risk patients.
