The place is well run and very nice. I feel comfortable leaving my wife there. It is a little pricey, but generally first-class. They really seem to operate as a caring family. It's definitely a place that people should check out.
Everyone that we worked with at Sagewood Desert Willow was extremely friendly and engaged. We were assigned a move in coordinator who helped facilitate everything and provided the information we needed to move in. My loved one loves her housekeeper and the place is always very clean when we go visit. She has received great support medically and emotionally through the transition. She has made friends and is out doing things/attending events probably everyday. I absolutely would recommend this facility to others.
Staff is very caring very accommodating for special needs and always available to help. They're also very encouraging the resident I feel it could be more nutrition based foods, like more fresh veggies and fruit.

Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home is an establishment that houses at least two individuals who have no familial ties to the administrator. This type of complex provides its residents with 24-hour care administered by registered nurses. These caregivers provide specialized care for seniors who are unable to take care of their own needs.

As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to form or participate in resident groups, get information on services and fees, exercise your rights as a U.S. citizen, and have protections against involuntary transfer or discharge. Nursing homes are required to provide a professionallly directed program of activities, pharmaceutical services, nursing and related services, and specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability) to residents. Many residents of nursing homes may have behavioral troubles, which can consist of verbal outbursts, a tendency to wander, or resisting assistance.
