This is a good place. They have a lot to offer the residents. I would recommend you look at the community to see if it would work for your loved one. The service time could be improved for meal service as it seems to be a long time to get food for the residents.
It really is difficult to put a price on a place that gives such care to your loved one. For an individual that wants their own Independence in a protective environment you can't beat the cost. I selected Kindred Place because it was closer to her friends , family and church. Also, it allowed her to cook her own meals since she is a finicky eater. I liked the fact that, family could visit and stay with her. She is surrounded around people who show a genuine interest in her. It is a place where you feel safe. I felt Mom would be happier in an environment where she could retain her Independence. I am pleased with my choice.
It was very difficult decision on where to send our Father for care. From my first call to country Meadows, the love and patience that were shown to us, I knew it was a first rate community in the area. Allison in marketing walked us though the admittance process and helped us with everything to assure a quick and smooth transition. [name removed], and the entire staff, made our loved one feel welcome and comfortable immediately. It hasn’t felt at all like the difficult transition, in fact it is as if our loved one was welcomed into a loving family that we have known forever. The entire nursing staff has been loving and patient and responsive to our Father’s every need. I can’t recommend this community enough!
