I had the misfortune of crossing paths with [name removed] at Cumberland Crossings' business office, and it was a lesson in the art of insensitivity and indifference. My mother's abrupt transfer from Cumberland Crossings to the ICU, barely a month into her rehabilitation stint, was met with all the warmth of a freezer. [name removed] impeccable display of apathy left me marveling at Cumberland Crossings' ability to prioritize profit over basic human decency. Clearly, their concern for financial gain eclipses any pretense of care for residents and their families. If you're in the market for a place where empathy goes to die, look no further than Cumberland Crossings—it's an experience you won't soon forget, albeit for all the wrong reasons.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. This place had a wait list at the time of our search, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

The AIDS and the supervisors of nursing our idiots. If you love your family don't go there. Poor service, they do not get checked every two hours or they get cold meals. Paying almost $[removed] a month for nothing. It's not the cleanest place either, they make everything seem so good when they show you around. [removed]

This community looked very nice when we toured it, however one of the features we required was that the unit have a kitchen so that not all meals had to be done in the dining facilities.

My parents lived here for 15 years and the reason they moved is because I wanted them closer to me. The value is terrible. It seems like they take advantage of the elderly. My parents were paying $8400 a month for 500 square feet. To me, that's taking advantage. If someone came to me and said would you recommend Cumberland Crossings to us as a place to live, I would say no, you could do much better elsewhere.

A Place for Mom has scored Cumberland Crossings a CCRC 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
