Our experience

Nothing was negative for me. The staff and the residents top notch. The reason for moving my Mother had to do with her downward spiral into dementia and my family felt she needed more 1 on 1 care. However, we would definitely recommend this community to other families, it is a wonderful place for people who are independent and want to socialize.

Review for Kindred Place at Harrisburg

It really is difficult to put a price on a place that gives such care to your loved one. For an individual that wants their own Independence in a protective environment you can't beat the cost. I selected Kindred Place because it was closer to her friends , family and church. Also, it allowed her to cook her own meals since she is a finicky eater. I liked the fact that, family could visit and stay with her. She is surrounded around people who show a genuine interest in her. It is a place where you feel safe. I felt Mom would be happier in an environment where she could retain her Independence. I am pleased with my choice.

Peace of Mind

It's a very nice place. My loved one loves the hair salon. It's a safe and clean community. My loved one likes to stay in her room. We are thrilled, that our oved one is in a place where, there is some accountability. My loved one, has everything that is needed, especially the support structure. The value for the money is good, and the peace of mind is tremendous, and it's afforadle for my loved one.

Wonderful

I loved everything about them: clean, pretty, about a $1,000 less a month than [Removed], friendly, low pressure, 7 day recission of deposit if you change your mind, not requirement to arbitration if you disagree over something, it's a nonprofit, even might over some residents financial assistance to stay if their circumstances change (altho no guarantees), nice facilities, meals are a la carte so you don't pay for a service you don't use (my folks will likely cook), rides, activities, nice people, heard good things from informal informants who have clients there, residents are friendly and possibility of on site health care service for certain tasks. In short, terrific!
