My experience was not favorable. Poor. Although my apartment was to be cleaned, I believe once a week. Although a cleaning was favorable, the scheduling was off, it was not cleaned every week. I had very little contact with the staff, but they were friendly and helped when they could. The meals were not good at all. One of the residents that sat with us at the table physically sick during the meal period I believe this happened three times in the short time I was there. No one came to assist the poor gentleman. I had to run around and try to find some napkins To his face and hands, it took quite a while to have somebody clean up after the incident One last thing was the rent. It went up shortly before I signed in and after I left less than a year later it increased another. There was not much activity planned for the residents.

I would say after being there over a year and promises of improvement which never happened I would be hesitant to recommend to others. Staffing turnover and personal care issues did not go away temporary agency people that were brought in to cover the gaps in care seem not to be experienced in elder care, nor did they have the bedside manner for it. food was subpar and menus did not make sense for elderly people. I believe there were a total of three EOO changes in the short time we were there. Overall, while there seem to be an effort for improving things it just never really happened.

We toured The Woods at Cedar Run during our search for an Assisted Living facility for my loved one's. This facility was older, but well maintained. The outdoor grounds were beautiful and tranquil. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. During the tour with my parents, they provided us lunch in the café and meals for my parents to take home with them. I would recommend this facility to others as an option.

Did a remarkable job of protecting us during the Pandemic. Composed an effective strategy to deal with any appearance of COVID 19. Maintained the meal quality during the pandemic period. It seemed that every negative thing that could happen did, but the staff hung on and did well.

I had a great tour experience with The Woods at Cedar Run. It was a very nice facility. My loved one is not ready to try another facility yet, We're hoping she'll change your mind and were encouraging her to do so but until she agrees we're not going to force her to leave her home.
The second fall was 2 weeks after she got back from hospital/rehab care from the 1st fall. My mom fell and broke her C1 and C2 on her third day there. Then, when she came back from the hospital and rehab, she fell and broke her pelvis and hip. They never called me or her to see how we were doing during her absence from there. It was just a nightmare. It literally changed the trajectory of her life. She passed away in October.

Our family had an in person tour with The Woods At Cedar Run and this community was our favorite but we had heard they don't always save their residents rooms if they have to go to the hospital. That had deterred us.

The staff will definitely go above and beyond to accommodate the residents. The meals are of a great quality. I would absolutely recommend The Woods At Cedar Run community for Senior Living. I will miss several of the residents. I will also miss the staff, as well. The receptionists are fantastic, [name removed] was awesome!

Overall this has been an okay experience for us. There are some issues; however, this might be because they are short staffed. This is a nice community. The staff are friendly. It would be nice to see more experienced caregivers available and caregivers who like cats and dogs. The community allows pets for the residents as well. There have been times that I have asked for staff to check on my loved one, and none of the staff did this. I took it up with management and there is no follow through on this.

If you need A Place for Mom, look no further than The Woods at Cedar Run. My mom moved there 3 years ago and remained there until she passed away in November. Visiting my mom at The Woods was like visiting a very large, kind and caring family. Everyone there, and I mean everyone, goes above and beyond to assist with every aspect of living at The Woods. I don’t think I can say enough wonderful things about this place.

The Woods at Cedar Run is a very nice place. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly and they genuinely care about the residents. They all know me by name. In the dining room they keep track on whether you are there or not. If you do not show up, they will call and check on you. They have on site physical therapy. They also offer independent living, assisted living as well as memory care. The apartments are very nice. We got a room on the 3rd floor and that way when my wife needs assisted living we will not have to move again. The setting is also beautiful.
The Woods at Cedar Run is a nice facility. The biggest drawback for us was the fact that they do not do the residents laundry, so we would have had to come pick it up and do it weekly. It was also more expensive, so we thought that service should have been provided especially for the cost.

The staff at The Woods are very professional and caring. The environment is warm and home-like. We had a very positive experience. All staff were friendly including management, wellness team, reception team, caregivers, building operations/safety and housecleaning. They were very good of what mattered the most to us and my mother. They were very caring and supportive throughout my mother's care.

We took both of my parents here for the tour and I had informed them beforehand that we needed 2 wheelchairs. When we got there for our appointment, we had to wait an extra 20 minutes for them to try and find a 2nd wheelchair. It made me wonder what else they may miss since that was not done before we got there.
Response from The Woods At Cedar Run
June 1, 2022Thank you for considering The Woods at Cedar Run for your parents. We apologize for not having 2 wheelchairs immediately available upon your arrival. We have taken steps to ensure this doesn't happen again. If I can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to call me at 717-525-2612 or email me at jweidman@integracare.com Thank you, Jesse Weidman, Executive Operations Officer
