The Bristal at East Northport
4.5

The staff at the East Northport Bristal is always kind. They always have a smile on their faces and are genuinely sweet and loving to my mom. The facility is ALWAYS spotless and beautiful to live in or visit. The only area I see occasional improvement for is the food. It is not always hot and more fresh veggies needed. The personal care and overall facility is excellent.

Whisper Woods of Smithtown

Independent Living

For those who would wish to live primarily without personal assistance but wish for the advantage of having chores and housekeeping taken care of by professionalls, an Independent Living Community might be the perfect option. Frequent needs such as meal planning and the scheduling of social activities are accounted for, allowing residents more free time to live their lives as they desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Typically comprised of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer homes with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies vary between locations, numerous residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of private health care providers, they may always do so.
