Brookdale Wilton

I just love the Brookdale Wilton community. They took wonderful care of my Mother in Law. The staff was always very friendly. She really enjoyed living there. I had also recommended them for a relative's mother.

I picked this community overall for the value received for the price. If asked I would recommend this community as the staff is personable and the residents seem very happy.

The staff here is wonderful. Only have about a month and have nothing but raves about the facility, food and service.

We picked this community, because of the transparency in pricing, attitude of the staff, services offered, community size, Unit layout. Brookdale was very upfront about their pricing, there was no bait and switch that we experienced with the other places we considered.

It is hard to make a move like this, but Brookdale Wilton was instantly a good fit for me. The entire staff from the top managers to all the workers make a welcoming atmosphere. Very professional and personal.

The carpeting and furniture could use some updating, as it is worn in the common areas. Overall the community is very clean. The staff are very friendly and have a homey feel to them. The staff communication with the family is very good and their response is excellent. There are three meals a day served, and there are choices for the residents to choose from. There is room for improvement for the quality of food served. The community is accommodating for dietary restrictions.

I found the facility very homelike and comfortable, not too large and overwhelming. The staff was very helpful with all our questions and concerns.

We love the smallness of the community and we could not of asked for a better place for our loved one. The friendliness of the staff gets higher then 5 stars they are absolutely wonderful we cannot speak highly enough about them. Our loved one seems to really enjoy the meals and dining service and since they do not participate in activities we aren't really sure what all they have. We would definitely recommend the Brookdale WIlton community to other families.

Brookdale has more of a homey feeling to it. There are always things going on, my dad does not participate in any of the activities but they are definitely there. I stayed with my dad and I thought the food was really good, they do have a menu to choose from for each meal. The staff are very straight forward when they tell you about things and have been super friendly. The head nurse is the best and my dad really has taken a liking to her. The executive director is also very good and does a good job running the facility. I would recommend Brookdale Wilton others who are looking.

I am off to a new adventure but before I go, here is my account. Brookdale Wilton is a very sweet community. It’s more of a family style, very comfortable place to live for seniors needing assistance or memory care. With the new chef the food is incredibly delicious. The executive directors is one of the most caring executive directors I have seen in my nine years being in this profession. He leads a team of true compassion. The Director of nursing is the best I’ve also seen, completely professional and medically strict which keeps the residence safe. The care is phenomenal and because it is a small community, it is easily managed with attention and personalized service. The activities are fine but not all residents participate so that still needs to be figured out. Several of the staff members have had their own parents live in this community which speaks volumes. I will visit and I will continue to recommend Brookdale Wilton to both my personal and professional friends.

Brookdale Wilton lied to us. They drew up an agreement plan with promises to us with a certain rent and accommodations and then after we met with them, everything changed. The agreement was totally changed, the rent was almost double what they promised and it was a horrible experience.

The community has been fine. Due to the pandemic the community I would recommend this community to others. There was a problem with bed bugs. Brookdale did resolve this situation. The annoying part of this experience, was the director would never call me back. The director did contact me regularly when trying to transition my loved one into the community. [name removed] is great at communicating with me. She has been terrific in regards to assisting me with my loved one. I would give her an A+ in regards to communication and friendliness.

We chose Brookdale because it is close and easy to get to, but also I liked the set up. The rooms were bigger compared to others we had seen. It was also less expensive compared to a couple others we saw. My mother has had no complaints about the food. When they have had bigger gatherings before COVID, the food was good. I would recommend this community.

Toured 12/21/17. Nice Location, fantastic staff. Problem is two bedroom does not have living room and far distance from my sister in NY.

They have a number of interesting activities at this community. They have a nice dining room for meals. The food is good and they offer a nice variety of choices. The community is clean and the staff are helpful. The have aides available if you need a little extra assistance. I would recommend this community.

We toured this community for my mother in law, and her needs. The tour went well overall. but we did not feel this was the right match for her, and her needs.

We liked this community when we visited. The people we met were nice and helpful. The community seemed clean. This is more for assisted living and my loved one wanted to be in independent living.
