Valley Christian Home in Hanford, CA
4.0 / 5.0

Valley Christian Home is not the newest facility. But they keep it up. It is clean, well maintained, and tidy. The food is complete and nutritious, and there are always alternatives. The people that work there are also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I would recommend the community to others.

Walnut Park in Visalia, CA
3.5 / 5.0

From my understanding they are experiencing turnover in management and a new corporate owner. This makes the residents un sure of what's going on. I personally think for the price of a room the company needs to step up the quality of food being served. They recently raised rent by $270 and yet the food quality continues to go down hill. Worse than a soup kitchen.

Sierra Hills in Porterville, CA
4.0 / 5.0

I picked this community because of the availability, and it was the first one I checked. It's a nice place to live, and they are friendly.

Independent Living

For those who wish to live primarily without assistance but wish for the convenience of having daily tasks and responsibilities taken care of by professionalls, an Independent Living Community might be the perfect fit. Frequent needs such as the scheduling of social activities and housekeeping are accounted for, allowing seniors more free time to live their lives as they see fit. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests.
