Loveable environment

Park Visalia Memory Care is a remarkable facility dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for individuals with care needs. As someone who works here, I can personally attest to the commitment of the team to ensure every resident feels respected, valued, and at home. The facility is beautifully maintained, with bright, spacious rooms and common areas that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every space is designed with safety and accessibility in mind, ensuring that residents can move around easily while feeling comfortable and secure. The outdoor spaces are equally impressive, offering a peaceful environment where residents can enjoy fresh air and nature in a safe, enclosed area. Excellent Food

I was invited for a lunch tour because I am looking to place my dad somewhere. We were greeted by so many of the staff and people who live there and everywhere was so nice. The food was way better than I would have expected and it felt like we were in a restaurant. The head chef even came out and introduced herself to us. This place was impressive for sure.

Nobody's perfect, but we really like this place

It's a beautiful facility most of the time the quality of care is good and the meals are good. They don't keep track of whether or not they eat and it was set up so that if you didn't come down to eat, they would deliver to his room, however that is not a consistent thing. The original employees understood his PTSD and had a workshop in order to train the personnel, but I don't believe they've done that since the big turnover. He's a little tough to handle and I do get that. The Med Tech staff is phenomenal. The housekeeping and care staff is awesome. Most staff members are incredible. However they have had a big turnover. There has been many times where he sat in the dining room for a good half hour or more before they'll even take his order which doesn't seem right, and I'm not sure what that's about. The VA Pharmacy department has struggled with communication with him, however from being great, not so good. Overall looks very happy with the facility and feel very blessed that he was able to move there.

Park Visalia Assisted Living and Memory Care review

The Park Visalia location was close to my home. Nursing staff played close attention to the behavioral changes that took place when my husband's condition changed and needed medical care. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

A little unprofessional

The staff here is mostly fantastic and really good with my mom but theres been a couple of times when I've heard the new boss whos office is by the front desk saying things about various departments. I have heard this personally twice so I'm sure other people visiting have overheard to, she's been telling the front desk about different people who I won't name and telling them what those other employees are doing wrong. If that's happening in front of family members I can only imagine what is happening when there's no visitors around. I think there should be some professionalism with that sort of thing.

definitely disappointed and very much hoping for improvements!

The one thing that bothers me is that there is a huge turnover in staff at Park Visalia. There were four different directors last year and multiple changes with the regular patient care staffing, so I'm not feeling really comfortable about my husbands care at this point.

Thank you for honest feedback. While we do have some team members that have been there for many years, there has been some changes. We do our best to employ team members that will care for our residents as they would their own family. Sometimes people choose to leave or we do not feel like they are the right fit for our company culture. I hope you know you are welcome to discuss your concerns with the Lightfinder Director or anyone at the home office if you feel like your concerns are not being heard. Fun Place to Be

I work in the health care field and visit this facility about 2-3 times a week. The employees always seem happy to be there and having a good time. I'm always greeted with a warm welcome. The seniors seem just as happy and it's always so clean and well decorated. The rooms are big and modern and think I'd live there myself if I were able to.

My grandma lives at Park Visalia in the Assisted Living side and loves it. She said everybody is always so friendly and makes her feel loved. She also talks about the staff and how they make everything fun and that the Nurse is one of the friendliest people she has ever met. I'm glad my mom found this place for my grandma.

The Passion at Park Visalia

Park Visalia isn’t a convalescence home. It’s more like a home for their residents. The employees are just like family very welcoming, helpful, understanding, attentive, respectful and caring for our loved ones. The place is very clean beautifully decorated it’s a cozy home feeling. Their is something always going on in the community for our loved one to socialize and interact with others. Activities & Staff does an amazing job at making sure our loved ones feel extra special during the holidays. Also the dinning area does an excellent service making sure every meal is well prepared and every resident stays satisfied with each course meal. The director [name removed] is the most caring, respectful and welcoming person she makes sure if theirs any concerns she’ll address them immediately because her passion here for our community is for our loved ones to feel at Home, safe and making sure our residents are well taken care of her expectations for our loved goes beyond.

A Great Place to BE!!

I remember the day I walked into Park Visalia. I was greeted by a group of ladies sitting together drinking coffee. I looked to my right and saw a few folks playing an intense card game. I could hear an exercise class in the background and smelled food that made me feel at home. As I sat and waited for my interview, I observed people coming and going, greeting one another and making small talk about where they were going and when they would be back. even asking about grandkids, next visits...etc. It then hit me, these were residents, caregivers, family and/or friends all communicating and working as a team. But it was so personal and genuine. Three years later, nothing has changed. I am truly blessed to a part of the Park Visalia Family.

Nice Place

I work for a home health agency in town and spend a lot of time at different communities in the Visalia area. Park Visalia is by far my favorite one to visit. It is always clean and everyone there is so nice. The patients are happy and well cared for. I truly enjoy my visits and would choose them if I had a loved one who needed assistance. The staff lead with compassion for everyone who walks through their doors and you can feel it.
