Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia

I appreciated that no matter how much my dad declined, they let him live there for the rest of his life. He didn't have to die in a skilled nursing facility or a hospital. The care staff were kind and friendly and patient. They also communicated with me often about my dad's wellbeing and not-so-well-being. I will miss them tremendously. Many of them felt like family, and everyone paid a visit in my dad's last days to say goodbye.

If a friend asked me, I would tell them that the staff are very attentive, caring and closely follow individual treatment plans to address the specific needs of each resident. The facility is clean and inviting. I picked this community over other places because the price was more reasonable, the director checked in regularly while the family were waiting for the right time to move my mother-in-law in. And the staff had a bed and were ready to transport my mother-in-law from the hospital when she needed placement.

I would have to that everything was great. The girl who helped us was fantastic. Her name is [name removed]and she made sure everything was done accordingly. She was on top of her game explaining how everything would go because {name removed] went in there on a retreat with the option to stay. Over all everything worked out great. [name removed]is still there enjoying her best life.

A few glitches but this is the right fit for him. The facility is spotless; I have to clean up in his room sometimes in between the weekly housekeeping. That said, he was never one to clean up after himself or try to keep things tidy, so I can't blame staff. Everyone has been helpful and friendly. My dad requires A LOT of care and everyone I've met has been dedicated and caring. My dad has minor grumbling about someone who I haven't yet met that gets him up in the mornings. Good food, always on time, excellent staff. Enthusiastic and dedicated staff, lots of choices, good exercise classes. I have to say this. Rent anywhere and everywhere is unaffordable and expensive. All of our elders should have access to this type of quality care and safe, secure housing if they need it).

I would tell a friend that their loved one would be in good hands. The staff has been very patient and supportive. They communicate with me about everything , from little things to big things regarding her care. They helped me be proactive about getting Mom moved in there and calling in hospice care to be in charge of her and make her comfortable.

We thought the community did a good job. I would suggest you visit other communities as well to make sure you find the right community for your loved one. The staff communication with the family was good.

This is a wonderful place. I would highly recommend Prestige to others for their loved ones. The caregivers seem to really care about the residents. The staff are friendly with the families and make us feel comfortable.

We chose Prestige because I visited all 3 dementia facilities in the area and this one was the smallest and the most personable. The rooms here are good size and they are private rooms. The management in charge of the staff does an excellent job and I would definitely recommend to others looking.

[names removed] were professional, informative, helpful, and personable. They made us feel at ease and answered our many questions. The facility and grounds appeared clean. We were able to observe staff interacting with residents in the memory care unit. I think I would be very comfortable with having a loved one in their care.

I would say to people to check this community out for their loved one. I feel that as the memory care of my loved one progressed the community wasn't able to assist my loved one's care any longer. The community gave us some resources to potentially move communities that could care better for my loved one. Due to COVID, I wasn't to see everything that was going on. The community was very nice and was fantastic to deal with.

Great attentive, caring staff. Each resident has unique needs and the Expressions staff not only addresses every individual professionally but with compassion. I recommend this facility without hesitation for the care of you loved one.

Very knowledgeable, nice place, good size rooms...I didn't like that it was 2 story. Assisted living 2nd level, memory care ground floor. This would be a good choice not my favorite. I didn't really care for the outdoor portion of the facility.

[Removed]. Some of them appear high every time we visit. They nickel and dime you to bankruptcy. The food was lousy. The staff scream at the residents as if they are all deaf; very humiliating. Never again!

This place looks like a great place if you could afford it. It is beautiful. The food was good, and the staff was friendly.

Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. My dad was only there 2 months because he had cancer and end stage cirrhosis. They took excellent care of him and worked closely with hospice to keep him as comfortable as possible until he succumbed to his illnesses. He said he never knew such places existed and was very impressed with the food and surroundings. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a pleasant environment to place a loved one.

This seems like a pretty good facility so far. The administrative staff and the nursing staff are both doing a great job. The place is kept clean and I have not had any problems so far. The activities seem like they are fun for the residents.
