Vintage Square at Westpark in Roseville, CA

My community is nice and quiet and I have met a lot of nice people. I am on my own and my apartment is approximately 600 sq feet with a good kitchen and dishwasher. They have an elevator available. They have a monthly calendar with activities and outings listed. There is going to be a luau this month. The staff are nice and it has been a nice so far.

Summerfield Senior Living in Yuba City, CA
4.8

Loved one required memory care. I reached out for placement and this was the first facility that called me back. Friendly, welcoming, nice tour. Facility is light, cheerful with great leadership and staff. My loved one was well cared for and loved that everyone knew his name. Facility is clean, resident rooms cleaned weekly. They provided excellent assistance to my loved one. Food was tasty. This was our first experience with a Senior living facility and the management and staff at Summerfield set a very high bar.

Prestige Assisted Living at Marysville
5.0

We chose Prestige Assisted Living because it was nice, clean, and a big facility and the price was good at the time, we got a discount. My parents have a great size room, the memory care rooms are a little on the smaller side. Sometimes I think that they could use improvement on the communication between the staff and the residents. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities provide seniors with a convenient equilibrium between an independent lifestyle and not having to concern themselves with the basic tasks of housekeeping and responsibilities. Basic needs such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and social activities is maintained, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they choose, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Typically comprised of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and more time can be spent with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies vary between locations, a number of residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always enlist the services of independent caregivers. There are an assortment of advantages and expenditures to consider while determining an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are included in your service plan: internet access, move-in fee, laundry, cable TV, field trips, Waiting list deposit, housekeeping, and transportation. The benefits and amenities that pertain to independent living include healthcare center, restaurant-style dining hall, game/TV room, private rental hall, transportation, beauty salon & barber shop, laundry service, and concierge services.
