My loved ones were only here 3 months, but they really loved it there. They both passed away last year. The staff was great. My mother in law was becoming more social. It made me sad when they were forced to leave because she got sick.... Read more

I see changes everytime I come. They appear to be striving for better which is always good. Although it seems certain privileges have been omitted for the time being, i.e. bus service to the store. Also exercise class doesn't have a teacher now which the seniors need. Other than that I'm hoping to see things trend upward and the new management bring good changes.

The facility is very clean and the staff is amazing. My loved one loves the food and enjoys the activities that are provided. She likes meeting new friends. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

Waterford Estates is a very nice facility. I just do not agree with the way that we were treated. We were in the parking lot ready to put a deposit down and someone called and said they would not take my loved one because she required too much care. I was very up front with them during the tour and I felt that they should have said that then rather than calling us and abruptly telling us. I do not like the way it was handled.
This community is great. It's a very nice place, beautiful view, my friend has her own porch to sit on and enjoy outdoor time. It's always clean and is a wonderful place to live. They take great care of the patients and make sure they're secure. A few times staff was a little harsh/rude when my friend was having issues with tv, etc and needed help. At times, I had to step in and do/say something. But overall, they're really good here. Repairs took awhile to fix when she first moved in. The food is good and quite healthy, good variety. There were a couple of times when she was charged for meals taken to her room that she said she didn't take, I'm still not sure what happened with that. They offer activities, she's only done the exercise so far. They also have church services here and she goes every week. They have a swimming pool as well. Communication with the family is great. I was sold on this place from the beginning, but my friend wanted to look at other places to be sure and we did. This was the best choice. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. This would be my first choice for myself, should I ever need it.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience, it was a secondary choice, the price was a little cheaper but the location was not going to work out for our loved one
The community is conveniently location for our family and all the staff who we have encountered lately are very nice and friendly. All of the medical assistance that our loved one has used has been very good. The value for the money is good . We have not had a meal there ourselves but from what our loved one says she does not complain so we assume they have to be good.

Overall we've had a positive experience. The people there are really friendly. Everyone is really open to spending their time, and they're helpful. Compared to other places that we visited, it's has been a very positive experience, and I would recommend it to other people. My loved one loves her apartment. It's actually very similar to her previous apartment that was not a senior living community, so it reminds her of her home.

This community was older and outdated. It did not really have the feeling that we were looking for. The tour was okay just did not have all of the amenities that I was looking for.
Waterford Estates are a good option if you're looking for a safe and comfortable place for your loved one. my loved one has complained about the carpet in their bedroom, as it's worn and has almost caused her to trip. there are pull chains in the bedroom and bathroom that can be pulled for immediate medical or emergent assistance. i do feel that they should be made more accessible; right now they're short and not in an ideal setup if a resident were to fall. one of the staff members altered the chain located in my loved ones bedroom to make it more user friendly. it's important to note that we haven't brought that particular issue to management, but they still need to be updated or replaced by a different system. Waterford has a lively and homey feeling. there's always music playing in the lobby and throughout the community. overall my loved one has had a good experience here, we would recommend it.

This community seemed fine it just did not fit what I was looking for for my loved one. I was looking for specific memory care and this had both assisted and memory.
I feel the money wasn't going towards their residents in memory care. The assisted living was very nice. In the memory care they could do a revamp of décor. I didn't see a lot of the residents during the tour.
We chose Waterford Estates because of the price as well as the questions above like cleanliness of the facility, friendly staff, and location. The apartment sizes here are fair for what is needed. I would absolutely recommend to others looking

We did a virtual tour today. Assisted living looked great. Bright, clean up to date. Memory care appeared clean and bright too. But more basic and not as home-like or comfortable as assisted living. The only widows to see outside were from the resident's bedrooms or during good weather going out to a secure patio. Pet therapy isn't allowed because a staff member is scared of dogs. I don't understand that, since pet therapy would benefit the residents.

We chose Waterford Estates because it was at the time really convenient to family and it was a very clean facility. The room sizes here seem to be on the smaller side compared to others that we looked into. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

The independent nursing team was horrible. We paid for daily medicine and it was mixed up with another resident. This team who is not with Waterford Estates was horrible. The Head of Nursing was horrible, not around, hard to get a hold of, and wouldn't show up on time.. The Waterford Estates was great, and the staff were wonderful. There were a lot of activities available for the residents to choose from to be able participate in.

A Place for Mom has scored Waterford Estates Senior Living 9.1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
