The Gardens at Park Balboa

I'm fairly new to The Gardens however I love the staff and residents. They take care of all the chores, so I have time for myself. The activities are great for different reasons. They have a variety of activities for all ages. The community feels very comfortable and I feel safe.

The Gardens at Park Balboa feels 100 times better in terms of caring staff, excellent food and the beauty of Gardens. Overall, I give the community a high rating 5/5.

The atmosphere is so positive, all the staff is always willing to assist in anyway they can. The staff always have name tags so it's easy to identify. But overall everybody here is friendly meaning staff and residents, that's because we are all FAMILY!!!

My favorite part of the community is that they accept pets. I also feel very comfortable taking my dog for walks because The Garden is so spacious. The staff is so dedicated they take care of all the chores. The food is excellent, the activities are fun and transportation is reliable.

Nice place, good food. Decent accommodations. Fun activities. Friendly people. However, the rooms could use more better light. It would be nice if Kleenex paper towels and bottled water were provided, extra bath towels and bathmats would also be useful. Otherwise, I can't complain.

The care services is good. Specially the caregivers, they take good care of me. The activities are fun. The food is also really good. I give this assisted living a 5/5.

The service at the Gardens is good, the executive Director is a great leader. The staff is well trained.

I recently found out about the Gardnes at Park Balboa Assisted living in Van Nuys. After, the talked I had with the Sales Director I knew the Gardens was a good place for me. I been living here for a few months now, and think is a good facility and I'm happy with the service.

The Gardens is a pet friendly community. I live here with my dog and I really like the dog garden across from my apt. The staff is nice and the location is very convenient. I don't have any complaints.

The activities are good. My fav activity is the walking club. The meals are good, always freshly made. Every meal has an entre and dessert. The staff is always so kind to me and others. Overall good place, with friendly staff.

Me and wife enjoy the activities, our favorite activity is the happy hour, every other week in the activities room we have appetizers and alcoholic beverages. We really like the staff, [name removed]the activity director is great and the young lady [name removed] is lovely and very helpful. The chef is also an amazing person at the Gardens, he prepares my wife's food very well. We like this place 5/5 (a special meal)

Great senior community in Van Nuys, CA. The community is clean and pricing is very fair compared to others around that do not compare! The food is fresh and good. If your looking for an open community with beautiful gardens. Here is the right place.

Compared to other facilities The Gardens has a kind staff. The staff is very welcoming. Most of the kitchen staff has a smile on their face and the best part is the food.

The caregivers are good and very pleasant. They have great activities going all the time and special events at least once a month. I'm very happy to be here, I am strongly recommend The Gardens at Park Balboa, you won't regret it.

Friendly caregivers, residents and receptionist. I don't participate in may of the activities, but the once I do are always good. The cellphone class is so helpful and so is the painting class. The instructors are very knowledgeable. Finally, is a good community and a good place for retirement.

I'm a new resident at the community. I'm 101 years old and I' a very active person. I like to participate of a lot of activities. The reading club is so far my favorite activity, along with the walking club every morning. The caregivers are well train and so kind. The best part here are residents so welcoming and nice.

The staff is very patient. The staff is very easy to work with and very responsive. Lastly, the caregivers often go over and above. They treat me as their own family.

The food is good, I like the housekeepers and the Activity Director is so friendly. One thing I like to point out is the garden across my room. It's a good place to relax and have a cup of coffee.
