Hello, we all have loved ones that deserves to hold on to their independence as long as possible but when the time comes and they are nolonger capable of holding on to their full potential, places like Courtyard Plaza is paid to takeover and help with their need. Which leaves me to question who is responsible for the A.M. duties such as checking on residents and distibuting morning meds that our love ones/residents may need assistance with, for any all residents and the lack thereof. Why have a nurse on duty and a doctor on-call if they aren't doing their job, are they really duty? Over a hot blistering summer on one of my many visits I noticed they had no running water and they were issuing out bottle water to the residents. We were not informed about the conditions of the facility or how long this had been going on. That means no baths were given especially to those that have incotinence issues. no washing hands, and no flushing toilets. As I walked past a residents room i noticed a man sitting on the edge of his bed with a diaper on that looked as though he had been wet for quite some time. The elevators were not operable at the time which also leaves me to question, how did the resident get their meals because, lets face it were talking about the elderly and most have troule just walking a short distance let alone traveling flights of stairs, again not informed by the staff. We were informed by a few residents about the situation because they were hungry. So please tell us again your rent is what????? Please clarify your reates as well as hidden fees.

The rooms are big and feel like an apartment however, the memory care unit is about waiting for them to die. There is not much in way of stimulation beyond music played loudly. The meals are limited and I'm concerned if at some point there are dietary restrictions...they couldn't accomodate.

When I initially checked out Courtyard Plaza, I was told it would be one price. Then it ended up being more, and with extra last minute fees added on. I felt like it was a bit of a bait and switch. When I go to see mom, she is very happy and very well kept. Her nails and hair was done nice, she was in good spirits, etc. At every other place she has been at she has asked me to get her out of there, but at Courtyard Plaza she is very happy. I just wish it wasn't so expensive and that they were up front about the costs.

The facility was fine, but I did not like the combination of assisted living and memory care. The memory care patients are contained upstairs and do not have free access to go into the outside patio or not. They would need to be supervised and I like the centers that are specific to memory care better

This place is awesome. I am really happy with how helpful they are, the value we get for our money and how they keep such a full and complete schedule (with interests for everyone). Our needs are overwhelmingly met and the apartment that my parents live in is much nicer then what they came from. My only tiny piece off is for the food. It's ok ... it's not bad and it's made for most of the folks there that do not like things to seasoned but it's not great and that's the only thing about the place that isn't great. The dining room and kitchen staff are amazing as well 0 it's just that the food is ok.

Sometimes people didn’t want to come visit me because they didn’t think it was a safe location. There were helicopters hovering over the building almost everything. There was a beautiful inside patio, which was very quiet and nice.

While recently seeking out a new home for my father-in-law we were very impressed with the cleanliness, staff, amenities and decor of this lovely and obviously very well run facility. Dimitry, the Administrator who showed us around, was not only intelligent, professional and efficient but kind and caring as well. It's like a beautiful little oasis in the valley with happy/friendly residents and staff.

The facility seemed a little dark and the presentation and handouts were not informative with cost breakdowns, amenities etc. the rooms are expensive and include the issuance of Meds even if the patient can administer them. In addition a caregiver is present three days a week to assist resident with showers whether they need assistance or not. Limited daily menu, posted on a board, if resident does not like food they can have a sandwich for dinner.

I looked at about six places and this one was by far the most pleasant in our range. It's not a luxury facility, but the staff are warm, attentive and the rooms are big. There's a pet cat and bunny. We feel welcome to visit. The residents seem really friendly too.

It's a good place. When concerns are brought up there is a good response to make improvements. When it comes to being clean and friendly they are excellent. They seem to be a pretty fair value. The food is not what I would order at a restaraunt but it seems to be pretty good.

It great! The living quarters are excellent. The houskeeping is excellent. The staff is more than helpful, and the food is fine. I've had nothing but very good experiences with them. The value you get for your money is better than the last place we were at, better than any of the ones we have been to.

Dimitri spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions and then took me on the tour. We did talk about her kitty, but don't remember if Dimitri said it was alright to bring it along. That kitty is so important to her. I described both facilities to her this evening on the phone and I am strongly leaning to Courtyard Plaza. The clients I spoke with were very friendly including staff. I have a call in for the hospital to call and render the evaluation that I don't think has been done. Also, she can bring some of her own furniture if she likes. Same price. Dimitri gets FIVE STARS.

Good deal. $2000 inclusive of care. All the way up. Large rooms. Could set up with eating, sitting area, and bed plus private bath. Got some singers. Offer a lot of activities; 14 piece band once a week.

They have a gorgeous website and a beautiful downstairs, but upstairs is like a dungeon area. They show off a really nice dining area but the memory area seems like a locked down prison from the HBO show. Totally dark and miserable. His prospective room had a balcony, but he couldn't use the balcony unless you are there to go on it with him. Three days a week they take them outside into the garden, but only going outside three times a week seems horrible. While I was standing outside the facility, dressed unusually casually in jeans, some sort of Target tee and tennis shoes in front of the facility, a car drove by twice and slowed down and propositioned me because he thought I looked like a hooker. That was pretty horrible! Then the director insisted on walking me to my car and petting my dog despite my objections of the dog going nuts. It was just bad.

Large facility but sounded like there was plenty of help to assist more needy residents as my mom. Plenty of activities set up. Large rooms very nice. Need to bring mom there to see.

After weeks of touring various facilities for my mother, I was feeling hopeless and full of despair. After my meeting with Mr. Gelman at the Courtyard Plaza my despair and hopelessness of finding the perfect facility for my mom finally turned into a reality. This immaculate, beautiful facility was more than what I could imagine for my mom- a perfect fit of meeting all the needs of my mother under one roof! All I can say is thank you Annelle Travis at a Place for Mom in guiding me to the Courtyard Plaza!!!!!!

I will be this place's poster child, they are excellent, things are amazing. The director, Demetri is amazing, he's always willing to talk to me about anytihng, and the amount of staff they had and knowing he was going to be well taken care of... I never imagined being here would be so easy, I didn't knwo what to expect but it's fantastic, my dad loves it, he's making nice new friends, the staff is all amazing, every single one of them, not a bad one in the bunch, and my dad is running movies now, he's like a little activities director. They feed him amazingly, they have a little barber shop, they have everything he needs right there, they always accomodate him, they're wonderful, I haven't nothing at all bad to say about this place, its absolutely amazing.
