Clean facility, professional staff. If my mom hadn't declined so rapidly i think she would have liked it there. Communication was generally good. They took good care of my mother. I would recommend to others. If the resident is a "foodie" this will not be their first choice. Very much like an elementary school lunch.

The management is willing to talk with the family and make adjusts, as needed, to meet the needs of the individual. The staff is attentive and friendly. The community is well maintained. Visitors are welcome! I would recommend Cariad at Village Creek, it is an affordable nice, safe facility for families. They do fixed pricing which is wonderful for families on a budget!

This started out good, but then went downhill quickly. I wouldn't recommend the community to others for their loved ones.
We moved our mom into the Cariad in July, 2021 from another assisted living complex in Plano where she was not doing very well. Once we moved her into the Cariad she begin to blossom and actually come back to life. They have such a loving and caring staff and they make sure the residents are not isolated all day, as was the case at the last complex where she declined very rapidly. This is the best place to be for your loved one who needs assistance and is the best value for the quality of care given.

They have a lot of activities but due to the covid restrictions they are still pretty limited at the moment. We liked the Cariad community because it has a family atmosphere, it is smaller and less clinical feeling.

DO NOT MOVE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. The place has the rudest staff, they talk horrible to the residents. My mom sat in a depends dirty for hours. The staff is lazy!!!! My mom has fallen several times with the staff in the room! The food is horrible and is just thrown together. The activities there are a joke. I call the State dept to report this community.

The community has a family feel, and if there is a concern they are very responsive. The caregivers are family and truly care about the residents. The community just feels positive. I would recommend this community to others.

Cariad is filled with so much love and compassion, you feel it the minute you walk in the door. Each resident has a special story and the staff there makes sure that story continues. [Name removed] is beyond helpful and kind who did tour.

Drapes in dining room. It would be warmer— it has always been cold in the dining room. [Name removed] was the one who mentioned this.

Assisted living facility. It was nice and clean and we liked it - just don't need that much assistance at this time. Codes on the door may be difficult for blind person. No private outdoor access (for pet). We did like the room size and kitchenette areas and the friendly staff.

The staff are nice and encouraging. The food is good and seems well balanced. They seem to keep the community clean and the grounds are well maintained. They said they were going to put up gating in the courtyard. Dad has a good sized room. I would recommend this community with caution. There were some communication issues which made the move into the community more difficult. I also feel they are a little understaffed.

My dad is doing really well as a new resident. He is really enjoying the experience. My dad really likes the meals and likes going down to the dining room. He has become more active with the community and we are happy that we picked this place. They are helpful with no problems.

On my tour I got see how very nice and friendly all the staff were. The front desk was nice and she knew everyone by their named, the residents seemed to like her too. She was awesome. I like it so much but my dad didn't want to move away from his town and familiar area.

Our tour of this community went well, it was a nice experience. The staff was friendly, and nice. From what we saw the community looked nice, and clean. It was a good experience, but the location of the community wasn't going to work for us.

I was very surprised how small the Village creak place is. There are not a lot of residents. The apartment I am in is comfortable and has a good amount of windows for natural lighting. The meals are fair, not what you would cook at home but still decent. I like the bingo and movie nights.
