Brookdale Hollywood Park

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Hollywood Park and it was a great experience for her there. They were outstanding for the treatment that my loved one received there. Without a doubt, I would recommend Brookdale Hollywood Park to others for themselves or their loved ones.

All staff members treat residents with love and care. Sometimes seems there aren't sufficient numbers on duty (daytime--only time I have experience with). Not a lot of "rounding up" of residents for activities. Some of the ones more "with it" independently come to activities. Those requiring a little encouraging don't always get that encouragement. Meals--offered options, but sometimes don't get what they selected (when they managed to select). And sometimes a simpler menu would be more appealing.

It meet our needs and they had an upbeat attitude about their residents. They were willing to take on the challenge.

Brookdale Hollywood Park has great staff members working there, they are friendly and responsive. We like the rooms they have available for their residents. They were clean and updated. We would recommend this community to other families.

The staff is caring and conscientious. The food is delicious, and there are a lot of engaging activities. We have been pleased to see our mom so well adjusted and happy there.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Hollywood Park and everything has been good for her at this facility so far. The housekeeping is good. The staff are all helpful and kind. If you want good communication you really have to come and visit often to see for yourself. The move in process was good. The food is fine. I wish there was a separate room for activities and more flowers inside and out.

They did not care for our loved one as they promised they would. The facility is empty most times, and the staff does not answer phone calls. We wish we had been advised not to go to this location.

We chose Brookdale Hollywood Park because we needed to find placement for my mom quickly and they had availability at the time and worked quick with us and were able to see us on a Sunday. We really liked the sales lady we worked with and we felt comfortable with them right away. It is a smaller facility and the staff know all the residents by name. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

We chose Brookdale Hollywood Park because this appeared to be the best one out of several that we looked at for type B assisted living. The room sizes are good for what her needs are. I think they could improve on the accuracy and timing on delivery of the medications. They do have a memory care unit attached to the regular type B assisted living facility, so if your loved one needs that care that is available.

It is a friendly community, the staff are very helpful. When I approach the staff about a concern they take care of the problem quickly. The staff are patient with the residents when transitioning into the community. The location is very good and off the freeway. It is a nice community, and family is happy our loved one is there. They have a beautiful courtyard., and a nice patio off the dining room for the residents.

We chose Brookdale Hollywood Park because the sales person who helped me was super accommodating. He was great to work with and always went above and beyond for our family. They also worked with us on the price. He is in a 2 person room but it is just him so he has plenty of space for what he needs. I haven't seen much because when I do go to visit I am only allowed to go straight to his room so I am excited for thing to open up. My dad is not a big fan of the coffee that they serve and he says the food doesn't have a lot of flavor. But overall I would recommend to others looking.

[name removed] was great. Got to look at a room through the window. They don't have a 1 bedroom available right now. Other options but not ideal location. Probably not the best choice.

The staff were very friendly as were the residents. The residents seemed happy to be there and they seemed more social amongst each other than other senior living/care places I’ve been.

The staff here did a very good job showing us around, they took their time with our tour and answered all our questions. We just felt that this community was too small, needed to be updated, drab and would not be the best fit for my dad.

I had a nice tour of the facility. Everything went well, and everyone was friendly. The community looked nice, and from what I saw they do a good job with the cleanliness. The staff I met was friendly, and my questions were answered. The experience went well. but I wanted a smaller community for my mother, and her needs.
