Everyone is amazing. The care given to my mother (85) is beyond anything that we have ever expected!! Her day is filled with activities that the staff make sure she is engaged in. The food is amazing! The field trips make her smile!! So wonderful!!
The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Anything that Dad needs, they make sure to take care of him. He loves it there. The move-in process was easy. There is constant communication with the family whether it is through a newsletter or a telephone call, if needed. His meals are amazing. The quality of the food is delicious and he loves it. We would 10 out of 10 recommend New Horizons at Marlborough to others.
The community is always clean. Every time we visit, my mother's apartment is always clean and the bathroom is always clean. Very high marks for cleanliness. Some of the staff is a bit friendlier than others, but they are all great with the residents. The care could be improved for the higher needs residents. The staff is really good about engaging the residents in activities. If a resident does not want to participate, they are good about encouraging them to do so in the future. Corcoran House is definitely worth the price. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we think Corcoran House is doing everything they can do protect the residents. During the community lock down, the staff has really stepped up to assist further than usual. It has been very difficult for my mother to be in quarantine.
