The staff is really great!! Most of them have cared for a family member with dementia so they are compassionate for what they do. Very knowledgeable and able to help navigate the resident and family members. Great facility!Love the staff! I spoke to residents and family and all say staff is great. I was extremely pleased with Ascension. The establishment, as well as the patients, were always very clean. I never detected any smells or odors -- and I have a keen sense of smell! They were communicative, helpful, and caring from my first visit until my Mom's death. My mom suffered from dementia, and was in the memory care unit. The staff was awesome, and during her stay there, the patient/staff ratio was such that, in my opinion, she received top notch care. Even though Covid was on the decline while she was there, I had to call ahead to schedule visitation, but was never denied, and I could call anytime during the day or night to check on her. I visited a couple of other places before deciding on Ascension, and they all paled miserably in comparison to Ascension. It was just the place I was looking for, and I would highly recommend it. Ascension was exactly what I was looking for.
