She did not want to walk long halls with confusing floor plans and elevators. The Waterford is small and a single story which has made her transition great! She enjoys the staff and the friendly atmosphere. It is a great place for her which she quickly considered her home!
We chose Heritage at Deer Creek because of the staff and the newness of the building as far as updates. And location especially. You do have to make sure things are getting done, sometimes things can slip through the cracks. Such as getting her bed made everyday. But they really are accommodating and helpful as well as friendly. As a family member just be mindful to check that those tasks are being followed through for them. Things can get miscommunicated from time to time.
