The first impression from our loved ones point of view was that is very affordable and we agree, the value is definitely there with everything they have to offer and we like that they have different levels of care that is accessible if and when needed. Our loved one is only getting 1 meal out of the 3 and overall he likes it. Our loved one isn't participating in the activities but they do have plenty offered. At Deerwood Crossing Senior Residence, residents are given the unique levels of support they require and the ability to comfortably age in place. The grand building is surrounded by paved walking paths and has a spacious green lawn. Three stories of private balconies and porches are tucked away in the brick and board siding, allowing residents to create individual senior living experiences.
The city of Brown Deer, Wisconsin, has much to offer residents and visitors alike. It’s home to the Milwaukee Pretzel Company and plenty of restaurants, which are all wonderful places to reconnect with loved ones. There are also many public parks, including the nearby Brown Deer Park. This park is located just a short stroll away from the community. It has a pond, a boathouse, and a large golf course open to the public. For indoor enjoyment, Brown Deer has a bowling alley and a variety of shops. This city is also located just south of the Milwaukee river, and the local health center is easily accessible.
