The Waterford at West Bend

The staff is very personable and genuinely seems to care about the residents and their families. The size of the facility is perfect for Mom because it allows her to walk around but not get lost. More fresh fruit and vegetables in the menu would be good. If they could add supervised activities on the weekend, that would also be an improvement.

The Waterford checked all the boxes for Mom. After living alone in her own home for 40 years, she didn't know how she'd adapt to community living. She did not want to walk long halls with confusing floor plans and elevators. The Waterford is small and a single story which has made her transition great! She enjoys the staff and the friendly atmosphere. It is a great place for her which she quickly considered her home!

We are so happy with the Waterford! So is mom! She really likes all the staff. They truly care about her. They joke with her & are very accommodating to all her wants & needs.

I recently vacationed in Wisconsin, and had the chance to visit my mother in law [name removed], several times at The Waterford in West Bend. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, and the staff I met were kind and professional. Her personal needs are taken care of, the meals are delicious, and there are many extra activities for her to participate in. She really enjoys playing Bingo and crafting, and I was able to share a concert with group participation that everyone enjoyed. I'm pleased we were able to find this place for [name removed] to live where she can get the care she needs while enjoying her life as much as possible.

Our experience with this facility has been terrific. Having my mom in a smaller facility has been a very good thing. Having all the residents eat together in the dining room at meals in harmony is nice to see and experience. The residents seem to enjoy the activities provided as well. Highly recommend.

My cousin has been a resident for two years at Waterford. She had reached a point where she could no longer care for herself. Tending to her needs are not easy and the staff at Waterford have done a great job.

My husband is in the Magnolia Trails Memory Care Unit at The Waterford at West Bend. The caregivers are fantastic. They treat the residents like family. The facility is clean and orderly. I feel my husband is safe and comfortable in his room.

I have found all staff and aides welcoming. My experience with each is mostly amazing. Finding each giving outstanding care with my mom and other residents. Their support means everything to our family. Thank you!

The Waterford made a smooth transition for my mom from a long hospital stay to their memory care unit. The communication was simple and questions were answered promptly. The staff is very welcoming and very friendly towards family members.

My mom currently resides at the Waterford in West Bend and we couldn’t ask for a better place for her. I love all the staff and they take such good care of her. I visit weekly and I’m always greeted with a smile. It’s a great feeling to know that she is safe and in a truly caring environment.

My Mom has been lucky enough to be at The Waterford for about a year now. I stop by frequently on different days and times always to find a very peaceful and fully staffed facility. Whenever I have a posed a question to management, I get a quick response. My favorite thing about The Waterford is the nursing staff that interacts with my Mom. They have more patience than me and are caring and compassionate. I'm also impressed with the activity director and the different things she does with the residents. The place is always decorated for holidays and events. I really feel fortunate that my Mom has a safe and wonderful place to stay--it gives me peace of mind.

My Dad had been in a different Memory Care facility. It was not a good experience. He is now at The Waterford in West Bend. [names removed] and all the amazing caregivers are attentive and so good with him, his room is always clean and the food is really good. I can't say enough good about our experience at The Waterford!!!

I have never had a problem with anyone. I feel that everyone takes very good care of her. I love that I can bring Titus. The only thing I have a hard time with is if something needs fixing, it takes days. But I love having my mom here. Its great!

My sister in law, my mother, and other friends of the family resided at Waterford at West Bend, Wis. and they each received outstanding service and care that I trusted. The staff were willing to be of service and responded to the needs of the patients no matter what the challenge of care. Horrible administration. They will say anything to make themselves look good. Don't buy into it. This could be a nice place if they had good people running it. Do your research and stay away.

Administrative staff listens to concerns, is responsive to family, experienced in site management and knows residents and family by name. Staff have endearing names. for my loved on like "my peanut", "sweet soul"; field trips offered, daily activities available, seasonal celebrations. My loved one calls it home. Clothes worn are clean and matching, meal provided in room as needed, hydration encouraged; calls received when valuables are found. Call button provided with prompt response. Mom has meds: always in stock, administered and recorded. CNA are advocates, well trained and know when to seek input; extra attention given during/after health changes.

It has been a positive experience working with the management/staff here at Waterford of West Bend. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

I've been living here for 5 and a half years, it's always been fairly good. I think all of the staff are hard working and give it all they have to give good care. this is a great place to call my home.

truly a wonderful place. the staff are friendly, rooms nice and food delicious. there are always activities. its also nice to have an on site beauty shop.
