I think they do an outstanding job here at BeeHive Homes. We hose it because it was a smaller facility, the location was good for us, and the staff members are just incredible. They love my mom and take great care of her and are always attentive. I would encourage others to definitely check this place out, it is great.

West Haven, Utah

Nursing Homes

A nursing home provides room and board to two or more individuals who are not related by marriage or by blood to the administrator. A nursing home facility offers its occupants around-the-clock care by on-site nurses. These caregivers offer health related services for seniors who cannot adequately take care of themselves because of the effects of aging.

Nursing homes can be a helpful and easy living alternative for persons 65 years and above, however nursing homes will allow individuals 55 and greater (a rarity in the realm of senior care). As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to to manage your money, get proper privacy, property, and living arrangements, spend time with visitors, and exercise your rights as a U.S. citizen. Often times persons may prefer to live in a nursing home over another type of facility due to a mental or physical condition that makes it difficult for them to accomplish the activities of daily living. The most frequent mental issue effecting residents of nursing homes is dementia, which can cloud their decision making capabilities, and their sense of familiarity with their surroundings, and memory recall. Many inhabitants tend to be single women who have smaller social support groups, and about 50% of nursing home residents are over the age of 85. Types of amenities and servicesoffered at nursing homes might include help with shopping and transportation, home care (like cooking, cleaning, or help with other daily activities), patient and caregiver education, and skilled nursing or medical care.
