My experience at The Auberge has been perfect, even better than I expected. I can’t say enough positive things about [name removed] he Registered Nurse, and the staff. I take great comfort in knowing my Father is safe, checked on daily, receives medication assistance, is well fed, and receives assistance with laundry and light housekeeping, weekly. The facility also had an in-house Doctor that treats the residents. Everyone employed here, in my view, goes above and beyond to do their jobs well. I’m greatly appreciative.... Read more

October 7, 2024Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review for The Auberge at North Ogden. Our staff strives to foster a positive community experience for all our residents, and your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks Kimberli.
First time being at an assisted living facility and if the other places have 1/10th of the dedicated staff, variety of services, and quality of rooms then we will all be better off. Dealing with a myriad of personalities and needs can be challenging, but The Auberge at NO takes great efforts to give the best care possible. We can give candid feedback in writing or the many scheduled face-to-face meetings with administrators.

October 7, 2024Thanks for the great review Kenneth! We are so happy to hear our team at The Auberge at North Ogden has provided such attentive care, and your review is greatly appreciated.
The fact that they did have lots of activities. Unfortunately they didn't mention that the memory care residents couldn't participate without a family member taking them. Although there are many activities, if a resident is in the memory care unit, they are rarely taken to these activities.

New administrator is trying to fix the mess she was left with, doing a good job. Staff is kind. Only complaint is some of the staff over share their personal problems with my mom. As a resident I feel they should not burden a 90 year old resident with their personal problems with their job and home issues.

The staff was really good to my mother in law. The biggest problem is that they could have done more to keep her from falling out of bed. She probably fell out 8 or 9 times. I would push chairs against her bed and ask them to do the same. Every day, there were no chairs against her bed. Everything else was very good.

My mom loved the staff and that this facility was close to home. The meals were lacking in ease for patients to eat and activities did seem to be far and few between

May 7, 2024Thank you so much for taking the time to acknowledge the kindness your mother received from our team at The Auberge at North Ogden. This is exactly what we expect from our team, and we truly appreciate when it is acknowledged. Your feedback regarding the meals and activities have been noted and will be addressed internally.
My father was a resident at The Auberge at North Ogden. He declined to the point where he couldn't feed himself. He had to go to the Memory Care facility to eat and didn't like it because he couldn't have a conversation with anyone there. I went with him there once and helped him eat. I thought the staff were rude and ignored any request that he had. At this time I wanted to take him to the dining room so he could be with his friends, but they wouldn't let us. Once he was placed, the office staff was pretty dismissive and didn't keep me informed of his decline. He also fell regularly and was with aids when he fell. Also, the dinners were gross and not nutritious. The lunches were good, but the breakfast had strange eggs. I would definitely not recommend The Auberge at North Ogden to others.

On [date removed], I was notified by an NP at The Auburge at North Ogden, that my mom had developed a pressure ulcer. She advised they were sending my mom to a SNF who specialize in wound care due to the pressure ulcer she developed. Sadly, my mom nor any of the staff at The Auberge had notified me prior to that day. The NP advised she was not notified of the pressure ulcer until [date removed] where she believed it to be an an advanced stage 2, possibly stage 3. She also stated they began wound vac care on that day. My mom was transferred to the SNF, where they staged it as a Stage 3 pressure ulcer. When I asked my mom about her condition, she stated "the girls" were tracking it, taking photos, but no wound care was provided until [date removed]. My mom passed away [date removed].

The care staff is not comparable to anywhere I have seen. The administration really cares about the residents and makes sure things are done right. The residents thrive here! You get a good feeling when you walk in.

July 1, 2023Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review for The Auberge at North Ogden. Our staff strives to foster a positive community experience for all our residents, and your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks Brenda.
It's been very a very good fit for my loved one. Her only complaint is that she can only get a ride on Wednesday's. Apparently they don't have enough residents to offer more days. She says the staff are all very kind and attentive. The food is fine as well. I rated cleanliness a 2 only because the hallways need new carpet. I've noticed they are quite worn and stained.

The staff in the memory unit was outstanding. They were really compassionate and kind to their patients. It was a good value as well - other places were a lot more expensive.

The woman I spoke to on our tour was wonderful. My loved one simply needed more care than they could provide. But I had a very positive feeling about them, and the manager was amazing.
I think that they all did their job and my mom was a difficult person to care for so I think they did their best. We chose this community for its location. We loved that it was small, cozy, comfortable, and it felt like home. The memory care was really cozy and intimate. I would recommmend this community to other families.

We were moving our stepmom from out of state and there was quite a bit of work involved to do this. [Removed] made all of this very easy and bent over backwards to help us. The day that we moved her in was amazing. Welcome signs were up for her, but the most important thing was how friendly the staff was. They helped us, answered our questions and were very kind and patient. She loves her new place and the friendly residents who welcomed her. We feel at peace having her here. It really is a beautiful place. Words are not enough to thank the staff, especially [Removed]!
