My dad is doing great, it was a little adjustment at first but going good now. We love the facility. It is bright and airy and there is more for them to do. They were my favorite when touring. I like that they can go outside and walk in the garden when he wants. They also have a mini golf course and he loves golf. The staff answer any calls and texts. He is starting to get involved with the activities and they sent us some picture of him being involved. He is eating all of the meals and it looks good and pretty healthy.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home is an establishment that houses at least two seniors who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. A nursing home facility provides its inhabitants with 24-hour care administered by registered nurses. These nurses offer health related services for those who are unable to adequately care for themselves.
Nursing homes are a helpful and comfy care alternative for persons 65 years or older, however nursing homes will frequently allow individuals 55 and above which is uncommon for other senior care types. Many residents of nursing homes might have behavioral problems, which can consist of a tendency to wander, resisting care, or verbal outbursts. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to be free from restraints, exercise your rights as a U.S. citizen, get information on services and fees, and form or participate in resident groups. A large portion of nursing home inhabitants are persons who experience difficulty with hearing and sight, require assistance with daily tasks such as walking, have a physical or mental disability, or have incontinence issues. Nursing homes are required to provide medically-related social services, specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), nursing and related services, and pharmaceutical services to residents. A large number of inhabitants tend to be bachelors or widows with circles of support, and almost fifty percent of nursing home residents are over 85 years old.
