The staff are very friendly overall. The admission process was disorganized. She didn't see a nurse after admission or get medication for a few days. I reached out to the nurse about her meds and never heard back. I just got a call back asking about signing her service plan 3 weeks after admission. [Name removed] did a wonderful job addressing concerns on the business side. They put together all of my mom's Wayfair furniture, which was awesome. Housekeeping for the facility is great, but not as much for the rooms. I just left cleaning supplies in the room so she and I could assist. Billing for the first two months has still not been resolved. Meals are hit and miss. They aren't what we hoped for in terms of quality. Overall it does the job, but I don't know that they have services coordinated well enough to say I would recommend it.

I left a review on Dec. 23, 2021, which was very positive. However, continual turnover in management and medical staff has changed my opinion significantly. There have been 4 executive directors and nurses and med techs since June 2021. Aso, several changes in cooks have taken a toll on the quality of food offered. There is a pervalent smell of urine in the halls, especially right off the entrance foyer. I feel that if I don't stay in touch with people, whether by phone or in person, my mom won't get quality care. I"ve gotten tired of introducting myself to new staff. If you visit ask questions about these issues and maintenance of the rooms and safety equipment. Don't let price be your primary decision maker.

The community is clean. My loved one likes some of the activities. We picked this community, because it looked the most promising to my loved one, who made most of the decisions. The staff is responsive. They don't seem to have food options, for those who require a more diabetic diet. It would be nice if they provided transportaion for the residents.

Cedar Crest was pretty much chaos. Hard to get anything done, and high staff turnover. I would have moved my loved one if not for personal medical issues I was having.

We picked this community, because of the location and pricing. Once the director left and other staff left, the place was not the same. Mom loved the food in the beginning but they hired another cook and the food was not good. The place had a high turnover rate after COVID in 2021.

I didn't like the atmosphere. I didn't get a good vibe. The priority didn't seem to care from my Mom but to get my business only.
Our family had an in person tour and it is an older facility but very affordable. We believe since our tour though it was be fixed up and updated nicely on the inside.
That the person needs to be at level of care otherwise there is a big deficit in care they don't help the person get changed in the afternoon or fed they don't encourage the person enough to get out of the room.

My mother and I toured several properties in April- May 2021 timeframe, We chose Cedar Crest because of the services offered, nice property and friendly staff. We met a couple of residents who allowed us to look at their rooms with whom we discussed the food and service. However, during our tour and when we signed the lease, we weren't told that senior staff were leaving and a new executive director would come in June 2021. I don't know if it would have changed our decision, but we now understand why we were pushed to make a quick decision before the rent went up. So, the new executive has been wonderful and has hired new staff to help provide the best possible service. They do have one deep positions, but do a great job helping their resident and families. When you are looking for assisted living andor memory care facilities, I recommend that you visit Cedar Crest.

We had a great tour with Cedar Crest and enjoyed our tour experience, we just felt another facility fit our loved ones needs better.
Cedar Crest is a very clean community with no fowl smells, and the location is very close to all of our family. Based on our experience so far we would recommend them to others.

Our family had an in person tour and the facility is a little bit older but the tour was nice. The entry way was very pretty but the individual rooms were older looking and a little to dull. However the people we did meet with were lovely.
I would recommend you run the other way. There were statements made during the tour and these turned out to not be true. This was an awful experience for us. The staff are nice and way overworked.

It was a couple rough few weeks in the beginning they were going through a change in management so some of the communication was slipping, but now everything is improving. The people working there now answer all of our questions quickly, any requests we have are followed up in a timely manner and they have all been very friendly.

This is a nice place. There has been a large change of staff. They are super nice. With the staff change over this has caused disruptions in resolving billing issues. The food has been enjoyed by my loved one.

The community has wearable call buttons and also in the bathroom but they did not answer these calls. Showering and bathing was an issue and we struggled to get my loved one bathed. However, over the past few months, the community has changed all of the head staff and I feel that they are making a move in the right direction

This property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood which was appealing. It is a one story, beautifully renovated building with a large enclosed courtyard. It is a very active, social community with several residents out of there rooms or with their door open. This is so important to my mom after being isolated for over one year during COVID. I looked at both the Studio Deluxe as well as the one bedroom unit. The studio apartment has an odd layout for the TV connection (cable connection located in a corner cutout) but the residents solved this problem by mounting it in the corner wall. In addition, the kitchenette was small with little counter space but the staff encourages the residents to dine out of their apartments. The prices were very competitive and the services provided fit the desires and requirements of my mom.

My wife has been here for 2 years now. This facility, hospice firm, and the doctor's nurse communicate. Even the new Director, and staff still provide the care she needs.

They're awesome. They're very friendly, helpful, considerate, and communicative. Each time I went in there, every single person would listen, pay attention, and they were very calm and peaceful. I was very comfortable knowing that nobody there was aggravated or had that type of energy. You could tell that they were very hands on. It's a smaller community, so they know each resident very well. They know each person's individual needs and personalities, and how to deal with them individually. They provide us great feedback. Each time I would come over there, my loved one would stand at the reception area and wait for me. And while he waited, he would always stand there and chat with them. That told me that he was comfortable, and he was very social there. He felt comfortable participating in the activities. He was very adamant about the food in his search for a community, and he's been very happy with it at Cedar Crest. And I've been very happy with them overall.
