I'm very grateful to the staff on the 4th floor - skilled nursing - for the great care given to my mom for several weeks after she was in the hospital. The therapists were good and encouraging. Mom left much stronger and feeling better. I had total peace of mind the entire time that she was there, and I knew she was getting the attention and care that she needed.... Read more

Although there are some excellent nurses and aides, and the doctors and therapists were great, this time for my mother was a nightmare: beginning when she was put in a diaper (she’s not incontinent) over her objections due to a bedsore and torn skin on her thighs and buttocks. I was told she’d been taken out of it when she was not. Once, when my mother called for an aide,. he said she had called too many times and she could just wait until the next shift came—and then he left. Additionally: call light broken at the nurse’s station. One time she had to wait over 1-1/2 hours for pain meds and Many times she waited over 30 minutes. The call cord in the bathroom did not work and she was stranded by aides 4X who left her. She had to bang on the walls and wait to be found so she could to get taken back to her bed and was in lots of pain by then. Although we told various staff about the non-functioning light and call cord, they did not get fixed until the MORNING SHE WAS BEING DISMISSED.

The accommodations are pretty but there is not nearly enough staff to go around. Do not put your loved ones here. The care, especially at night, is just not sufficient, almost non-existent. They do not respond to calls from patients. Some of the staff is good, but overall it is unloving and uncaring.

Didn't get a great vibe with this place. No real kitchen at all.

I spent 2 weeks at rehab. Everything about the experience was positive. The rehab staff was exceptional, with on one therapy from pt to ot and speech. The entire staff from nursing to housekeeping , to activities made you feel a part of the community. For any of your, rehab care, you should definitely go to the landing. And, why don't you put deflectors on your air conditioners? It is very uncomfortable in the rooms. .

When I toured Landing at Watermere, my first impression was that it was too stuffy and dark. It was not an inviting atmosphere. Everyone there was nice, but it was not what we were looking for.

My mother has been here 3 yrs and the service has dramatically worsened. She resides on the second floor of the landing. She is not able to move around on her own and relys on the aids. The second floor no longer has a nurse, they only have 2 aides for residents and only 1 pager for the aides. Therefore my mother has to endure very long waits day and and night for help to use the rest room, to get dressed, and help for all of her daily needs...Managment has been unwilling to resolve any of these issues. Their excuse for only 1 pager for all of the second floor is someone walked off with it. The facility is very beautiful decorated but I would suggest you go somewhere else.

I'am very pleased with this community, and all they have done for us. My father is doing great, and receiving good care. He is improving, they are taking very good care of him. The staff is amazing, they are great with including me in all the meetings, and information about my father. The social worker at this facility is great. She was very caring, and was very helpful with everything. It has been an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend this community.

lovely facility - the only concern was in the skilled nursing facility we could only request a private bath (not shared). That was a tough one for my family member that wanted his privacy. However, we would go with this facility just based upon the tour.

I was very impressed with our tour of this community. Everything about this community was great. They were ready for our whole family when we arrived. They offered drinks and cookies before the tour. The community looked great, everything was very maintained. The staff was very courteous and welcoming. The only problem was the location of the community. It was convenient for our families too travel to. I was very impressed with my tour of this community.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

It doesn't replace home, but it is very good. I'm thankful to be here. The residence are lovely and we have alot a common. Our help is outstanding. It is clean and quiet, the food is almost like home cooking. I have no complaints! I'd say, "if you can't live at home put The Landings Top on places to live" Maybe it is great, but home was great!

Nurses and aids are very good. They are prompt and friendly - desirous to help. Transparent ruling us bad. Many residents cannot transfer in company bus.
