Brookdale Eden Estates

We moved my mom out of Brookdale Eden Estates a year ago. Her health was declining and her dementia was getting worse, so we moved her to a smaller facility where she could get a higher level of care. At first she was moved to an Assisted Level B facility. As her health further declined, she chose to move to the facility where she went for rehab. She is now in this rehab & skilled nursing facility in Midlothian. We liked most things about Brookdale, but my mom needed more care and supervision. For example, she often wouldn't go eat in the dining room and we needed a place that would take meals to her if she didn't go to eat. Brookdale is a great place for independent living and for people who need limited help. Feel free to text me if you have more questions for me.

Eden Estates has the best staff everyone from the Director to the maintenance people are so supportive and kind. Transitioning to assisted-living is hard but they have made the process easier for me and my mom. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great place!

I like the facility and the people are great. The med room is not always accurate on meds or timely on ordering refills. What stood out about this facility was that the dining room was nicer. I liked the room they had to offer. 24 access if needed.

It seems to provide at least everything that other facilities I toured does. some of their amenities are even a little bit better. being close to my home was also a big reason.

At 90 years young, my Mom was ready to give up her home of 50 + years, and move to a community environment. Brookdale Eden Estates made a stressful, traumatic experience easy for all of us. From the supportive staff, to the well maintained facility, we could not be more pleased! My Mom loves it, and without the stress of living alone, she is back to being her happy and healthy self!

Caring staff, well run, good food. This place is a "cut-above" another independent-living facility a few miles away. They have appropriate staffing, well-trained staff, and a well-cared for facility. Storage in each apartment is ample.

*Dad has been at Eden Estates for about 4 years. *His recent move and it went well. He needed to move downstairs and likes his new apt. * Enhabit is good about seeing that the serves he needs are met. *Food and meals: there are many times he doesn't like the food they are serving. He doesn't like many sauces. He prefers sauces on the side. *The extended care girls who help with showering and dressing are great ladies. He speaks of them well and enjoys their company.

Mom was looking for her own place and wasn't ready to move in with family. She loved the Brookdale in Sparks, NV and was thrilled Brookdale Eden Estates had an opening. From the lobby through the entire complex it felt right for her. Many residents had mobility devices like hers and the staff goes out of their way to make both the residents & the family feel welcome. Food is great and the events are top notch. Her room is designed for easy wheelchair access from the kitchen, closet, bedroom & bath. The place is well-maintained & she's already made new friends. Thank you for providing a few more years of independence!

Brookdale has been a good home for the past six years. It is a very inviting atmosphere, there are numerous activities if you choose to participate and I have been able to add services as my needs have changed over the years. I love my apartment and have made many friends within the community.

My mother has been at Brookdale for a year and a half now. It was the best move she could have made. The staff is wonderful, the residents are wonderful. My mom went from sitting alone in her apartment during her retirement, to having a full calendar of activities and she has made many friends. I love calling her and hearing that she is too busy with her new social life to talk. She plays card games, bean bag baseball, bingo and goes on shopping trips with the other residents. The staff are all super friendly and patient and caring with the residents. She recently transitioned a few months ago to assisted living for medication management and that has been the only area that has given me concerns since she has been at Brookdale. There have been a number of hiccups with refiling her medications timely and communication. Otherwise, I can't recommend this place enough.

I would highly recommend this place. I would like to say that the staff here went out of there way to make my dad welcome and feel that this was his home and not just a place to live. It had both senior living services that meet are needs now but when time came we could move more to assisted living services without moving to a different facility or apartment.

Most of the people here at Brookdale Eden Estates are very friendly. I would rather not be here. I liked my 55+ community but I have to make the best of this place since my daughter moved me here. I am managing but it is difficult for me.

Everything is outstanding! Food, service, friendly, housekeeping, activities all super! My friend is very satisfied. Homesick as normal. I would highly recommend them.

We are very happy with Brookdale. My loved one thinks they are living at a 5 star resort! It is close to my home, so I am able to get to my parents quickly. Also the longevity and the dedication of the staff. I am very happy with the communication.

So far Brookdale Eden Estates has been great. The staff and residents are friendly. My mom is very happy and content there. She was against moving to senior living, but now that she's settled, she's been very happy and doesn't have ay complaints. The apartment is a little small and outdated, but it's clean, well kept, and comfortable.

My dad is safe, it is a clean place, and the staff really care about the residents. The only hiccup we are having is when we came in they said it was a certain price, but they cannot seem to get the billing straight. We keep getting extra charges and late fees added and nothing is getting resolved. I know my dad is getting great care here and that gives me peace of mind. The food is really good but I wish they had more activities provided and more outing opportunities for the residents.
