Very friendly, on top of things, feels like your home. They have different size rooms, all are pretty big. They do laundry for you every day, give you toiletries if needed. I would recommend them to other families.
My mother was only able to spend a few months in the memory care section of Juniper Village at Mount Joy, however, the care and compassion of the staff along with the cozy setting finally enable her to relax and feel at home. If you are looking for a warm and cozy setting for your loved one, I would definitely recommend Juniper Village.
Mom is very happy there. There are prettier, places with more amenities but these are much more expensive. Housekeeping in common areas is good, some wear and tear noted but these are hard to keep up with. Housekeeping staff are very friendly and well liked by residents. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Quality is good....not sure what to use as parameters. Sometimes communication between staff drops which. An cause delays. There is a nice variety of meals. Not always seasoned to my Mom's liking but have to cook for all. Hard to get condiments when needed. Loves the activities and bus trips. Lots to do if you want to be involved Activities director is great!. Have had issues with being charged for care my mom was not receiving. They were open to review and discussion
