My mom stayed at The Bridges for her rehab after her shoulder surgery. The therapy team was amazing and always took the time with her. She is grateful to have recovered and is back home. But, if we need to go somewhere in the future THE BRIDGES IS WHERE WE WOULD GO!!
Fun, vibrant, safe and clean. The staff treat your parent/family member with respect and kindness. Not a cold sterile old folks home. A place they can still be adults and not just another number.
I would recommend this facility to others. All interactions that I have had with all of the staff have been great. Also, my mother has not had a complaint that she has told me about. So everything good. I can't rate the meals or activities as I haven't personally been involved with those.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home provides lodging to at least two persons who have no familial ties to the administrator. A nursing home community provides its residents with 24-hour care administered by on-site nurses. These caregivers provide specialized care for people who are unable to care for themselves.
Nursing homes can be a helpful and easy care alternative for individuals 65 years and above, however nursing homes will routinely allow access to individuals 55 and above (a rarity in the world of senior care).A large number of nursing home inhabitants are individuals who have incontinence issues, experience difficulty seeing and hearing, require assistance with daily tasks such as walking, or have a physical or mental disability. Nursing homes are required to provide dietary services, emergency dental services, room and bed maintenance services, and specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability) to residents. Types of amenities and services offered at nursing homes can include intravenous or nutrition therapy, skilled nursing or medical care, monitoring serious illness and unstable health status, and meal programs. The most common mental disease experienced by residents of nursing homes is dementia, which can hinder their memory recall, and their sense of familiarity with their surroundings, and decision making capabilities. Some services come at an extra cost which can include personal comfort items, a private room, unless medically needed, and personal clothing.
