Creekside Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Meridian, ID

This place is like no other. I have seen many Skilled Nursing Facilities and this is the one you can walk in any time, day or night and there is no smell, its always clean, and the staff and patients are all laughing together. They interact and its not sterile and false and clinical. The staff genuinely connect with each other and the patients. The food is good, the management team is always helping, always attentive.

The staff are very, very kind and interested in the residents. They give 5-star service. They're also very interested in interacting with the families, and they welcome the families to come visit. If they have any staff shortages, the administrators will even fill in. They have great communication with emails and phone calls. And the food is quite good.

Eagle, Idaho

Nursing Homes

A nursing home provides lodging to at least two persons who have no personal ties to the administrator. This type of residence provides its inhabitants with around-the-clock care by registered nurses. These caregivers provide healthcare services for people who cannot properly take care of their needs due to their aging.

Nursing homes are a familiar and easy living choice for individuals 65 years or older, however nursing homes will accept individuals 55 and above which is for other senior care types. The most common mental condition experienced by nursing home residents is dementia, which can cloud their decision making capabilities, memory function, and and familiarity with their surroundings. Many occupants of nursing homes are persons with behavioral problems, which can consist of verbal outbursts, a tendency to wander, or resisting care. Types of amenities and services offered at nursing homes can include friendly visitor programs, patient and caregiver education, room and board, and skilled nursing or medical care. Many inhabitants are single women with smaller social support groups, and almost half of nursing home residents are older than 85 years old. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to be free from abuse and neglect, be treated with respect, have protections against involuntary transfer or discharge, and participate in activities.
