We chose Foxtail Senior Living because the location is close to our home and there were others we knew that had had loved ones here and had a good experience. They have a doctor on staff which is very nice and convenient especially mobility wise. The food is wonderful and the facility itself is new and very cheerful. The room sizes are amazing and very spacious. My mom is paying less for a single room than she was for a shared room before. I would recommend them to other families looking.... Read more

Foxtail Senior Living is an extremely nice facility. Unfortunately it is very expensive and was way out of our price range.
My loved one is in memory care and it has been locked down due to covid. They do manicures and pedicures every week and i love that for my loved one. They take them for rides and more to keep them busy there and in the community. You can't go in much anymore due to covid but I am happy with what I hear is happening at this community. This community is close and new and with a great view of the mountains.

With Covid and everything it's hard to say. The food is probably the worst thing. My loved one complains it's always cold, or overdone or underdone. I wish the maid service was better, laundry, etc. The staff are pretty much average as far as I know. It's quite nice, a big open facility, with parking and a shuttle service. I was impressed. It's a nice, open, well kept place. They have a nice big library room, a game room, and a snack bar where the residents can go in and get cookies or soda pop any time during the day or night for no charge.

We had a totally different understanding of what assisted or senior living is. So we made a very clear and complete care plan, and they had kind of a hard time following and understanding it. I think that is in part due to the fact that they're such a new facility, and Covid times didn't help. There was turnaround in the staff because of Covid. I think they just didn't have enough experienced employees there. They were nice, and they were very nice to my loved one, but the detailed care just wasn't there. It just wasn't the correct place for her.

My mom has been here just over year, the only two things we have had issues with is my mom does her own laundry and the have 2 designated machines for residents who are able to do their own. One of them stopped working and the other one has been having problems and this has been going on for about 6 months now, so that has been an issue. They have also gone through a lot of cooks here and she is having issues because she has a lot of items she is not supposed to eat and that always seems to be their main course. She also says it is served cold. For what is going on with the virus, the staff members are trying very hard to engage the residents in safe activities. They are very responsive and communicative about what is going on inside the facility and great at taking care of the residents. Overall, I would recommend this community.

we are extremely happy with this community. We have not been able to visit with covid, but they have some outdoor visits. They do everything within their capabilities to increase care as time goes on. All and all with covid I think they have done a good job, they set up a staggering meal time so that they can still eat in the dining room. I would recommend this community.

We chose Foxail Senior Living because they were one of the only facilities allowing tours during covid. We also heard very good reviews from other people about it. The room sizes here are larger than most. We have heard that the food has been really good. My favorite part about the community so far would be the friendliness of the staff members and their communication skills with the family. I would highly recommend.

Foxtail is a larger, new (1-year old) facility with lots of bells and whistles, such as a 24/7 ice cream parlor, a cinema room for "tailgating" with other guests, free mani's and ped's, and the list goes on. It is a very modern almost pristine facility. It's gorgeous. They have about 80 units of which they are 60% full. They have a nurse and anLPN from 9-5, which trade off evening "on call." They have a NP that makes rounds on Mondays. Lots of activities are scheduled and their dining room has a menu selection for each meal. They also have a Memory Care within their facility. Their said their response time to client calls is 5 mins or less with a State requirement of 6 mins. Their bus is free for one ride a month, then the fee climbs according to how often you use it. The halls are very long and I myself did not see a single aid in them (maybe it was an empty or unfilled hallway to be fair). The studio has quasi separated area for the bed, but it tends to make the living space very small. They do not have frid or microwaves in them. This facility feels like it would be more appealing to younger clientele. It just doesn't have that cozy/warm feeling that an elderly person may like. These are of course just my opinion based on my almost 93 year old family member.
