That this center is here for the residents . They adapt to the residents need. They have many opportunities to participate in activities. We especially appreciate the staffs willingness to adapt to the resident.
They have a level of care cost. I went in expecting one cost, and then it was raised, so I did not care for that. Also my mom was difficult, and they treated her as such, which I did not appreciate.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home is a building that houses two or more seniors who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. This type of community provides its inhabitants with care administered by on-site nurses. These caregivers provide healthcare services for people who are unable to take care of their needs due to mental or physical conditions.
Nursing homes are a helpful and comfortable care alternative for individuals 65 years and above, however nursing homes will accept persons 55 and above which is uncommon for other senior care types. The most frequent mental disease effecting nursing home residents is dementia, which can hinder their memory recall, and familiarity with their surroundings, and decision making capabilities. Often times individuals might prefer to live in a nursing home over another type of community due to a physical or mental impairment that prevents them from easily accomplishing their lifestyle goals. Types of care services and amenities provided at nursing homes might include rehabilitation needed due to injury, disability, or illness, room and board, personal care (including dressing, bathing, and toilet assistance), and help with shopping and transportation. Nursing homes are required to provide dietary services, medically-related social services, emergency dental services, and specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability) to residents. A significant amount of residents tend to be single women with less social support, and almost 50% of nursing home residents are over the age of 85.
