There is a concierge on duty 24/7 so if you need help at 2am there is someone available. I feel safe here and other residents agree. Residents are also friendly. We have a lot of fun. No strangers - people introduce themselves to you. When I was new older residents taught me the ropes. When we don't see someone for a couple of days we check on each other. Older residents make the new ones feel welcomed. Front doors- where the concierge is - are open during daylight hours. After that you need your card to get in. My experience with Heartis was good. They were helpful, kind, caring - responsive to my mom's needs and my efforts and involvement in helping her. I would recommend them for sure.

I moved my Mom to Heartis because it had good reviews. After having staff changes it has been nothing but headaches. They are late in bringing my Mom her medication if they bring it at all. They are unresponsive when she pushes her button for help or medicine. She was told to just go in her diaper because they didn’t want to help her to the bathroom. I told my mom to call me if she didn’t get her medicine and she has to call way too often. I regret the day that I put her there and will have to move her again if things are not straightened out. I am sure that this will not stay up long because it will be removed but search somewhere else.

July 17, 2024Hello, This is Nick, the Vice President of Operations for Heartis Fayetteville. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you regarding your experience at Heartis. If you could please email me, I would like to learn more- ncastilleja@ISLLLC.com. Thank you for your time
The facility is close to the places to restaurants for family members to go for lunch and shopping; Staff is extremely compassionate and supportive. I definitely recommend Heartis Fayetteville to anyone who is looking.

I would not recommend. Some of the staff were lovely. However, the common areas of the community were filthy. Seemed like they only had one maintenance person to handle everything. Found out the community was without hot water for five days. Planned activities would be canceled because the staff member, scheduled to host the exercise or activity, had to drive the bus to Walmart, grocery or Dr. That is all for the independent living. My dad was in memory care. That was absolutely horrible.

Mom was adamant that she wasn’t going into any kind of home. She would just take care of herself. Well that wasn’t going to happen and my brother and sister agonized over how we could keep her with us but with the Dementia and her lack of mobility there was nothing else we could do but to find a place for her (mom). After weeks of looking I called A Place For Mom and after talking with them we took their suggestions and looked at several homes finally deciding on Heartis in Fayetteville Ga. They covered every question we had and made us feel good about our decision to place her there. She has been there around 5 weeks and tells us every time we wear her how happy she is to be there.

While the assisted living area was better and the staff helpful, the memory care area was understaffed and the people mostly just sit in the front up near the nurse and don't do anything all day. There was zero family communication. At our old place, we got monthly news letters showing activities. There was nothing like that. We were not impressed with the food at all. I would not recommend if there was any chance you would be needing the memory care. The residents mostly sit up front at tables. The workers are busy, but sometimes there would only be 2 workers for 26 seniors. There were other bad things, but it's mostly about being understaffed.

Our move-in was not positive. The suite was dirty. Also, we felt that no one was there to help us. We had to figure out so many things on our own. Who works with us after we move in? We've been here for 5 weeks and some items are left un-done. There is not a clear process of who we should contact once we move in. The Salesperson is no longer available The Ambassador committee (to help new and existing residents) is not active enough, especially with new residents. There are so many questions but no one around to answer the questions. The front desk staff Managers are very nice and very helpful. In summary, the facility does not live up to the cost. Very overpriced ! There are a few residents moving out for various reasons. And, from what we understand, they will raise the rent during the year. With seniors being on a fixed income, how can you do that, especially when the cost is already so high? One category which should be added is "Security" ... that would be rated a "5"

My sister [name removed] is the one who has had more interaction with them, but from my experience, I have found everyone to be very friendly and eager to help whenever they could. [name removed], especially, always had a smile on her face. The surroundings of the facility are very open and inviting. I would absolutely recommend Heartis Fayetteville to anyone looking.

The interaction with the staff is very good. They have a new chef, so they are working on the food. The past few days, the food has been great. My loved one loves all of the activities, and really enjoys them. The value for the money is worth it. We picked this community, because of the price, people, food and it was a place that my loved one seemed to like.

Response from Heartis Fayetteville
February 22, 2023Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you have nothing but amazing things to say about our team at Heartis Fayetteville and what we offer.
Heartis Fayetteville was great! They could not have been more caring or helpful. My mom was only there a short time - 6 weeks or so - as her period of decline leading to her death was only a few weeks. In the short time we were there, my mom's circumstances and needs changed quickly and they could not have been more caring, helpful, or accommodating.

Heartis Fayetteville is a very cheerful, happy place. The staff is very accommodating, flexible, and friendly. My sister is very happy there. The other residents make her feel welcome and happy. The ambiance is great. I would give the activities a 10 if I could, they have so much offered. They have health facilities, they have a hair salon, the ability to be able to eat in the dining area or brought to the rooms, movie theatre, the library etc. There is plenty to help residents stay engaged. I would absolutely recommend Heartis Fayetteville to others.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a really nice tour experience but it was a little to expensive for us and the location was just to far away.
I really like this facility as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Draw back- much too large to my moms sense of comfort zone. It would be very intimidating for her- elevators and a large scale facility.
We picked this community because, the staff seemed to be very proffessional, and caring. Also, the apperance of the facility was clean, modern, and well kept. I would advice other familites, to get to know the staff, so you can develop a realtionship.

I really like the heated swimming pool here and a big plus is that it is year round. We would recommend this community to other families but the quality of the meals needs major improvement.

A Place for Mom has scored Heartis Fayetteville 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
