The only reason the overall score was 4, is that getting paperwork for long-term insurance has not always been submitted in a timely manner. We have always had great communication with the staff and they have been attentive to mom's needs and well-being.

The staff is knowledgeable, nice, and professional. They work hard to help the patients in every way possible. It is clean, and just a good choice for south side of Atlanta. Close by, and not that expensive. I am so glad we found this place with the help of a place for mom. Thank you to all involved. I believe mom is now in good care.

Response from Hope Center Memory Care
February 24, 2023Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day!
My tour guide, [name removed] was very approachable and helpful. She answered all my questions and did not rush our time spent together. I would give her a 5. The facility was not to my liking. It seemed much more institutional and a lot of the staff were listening to some rather loud music. I felt that Hope was also a bit more for residents who are in more of a decline with locked doors etc... It just wasn't the correct place for mom.

It's been a pretty good memory care experience. The four different wings they have with different types of care have been beneficial. The facility itself is good, and the staff are about average.

We chose Hope Center because it looked like it offered the best quality of care. I talk to others who have their parents there and they seem to be happy as well. It has been a good experience and I would recommend them.

October 20, 2021Thank you for the kind words! We appreciate it!
We chose Hope Center because I really felt good about the place when I went in. It was the first place I went and I felt at ease immediately. I was completely comfortable from the get go. They are some of the kindest people I have ever met, they really were concerned and helpful the whole time she was here. I would absolutely recommend to others.

October 7, 2021Thank you so much for taking the time to submit your review! We truly appreciate it!
They provide truly heart-felt care for the people who live there and their families. This is my loved one's third facility overall and 2nd assisted living facility, and I just wish I had known about them from the very beginning. They've been fabulous. Really my favorite thing about it is the area called "Wandering Brook," which is specifically designed for dementia patients who wander and walk around. There's an outdoor patio area that's locked from the outside and gated. So my loved one can go to that outside garden area whenever he wants to. There's just a lot more freedom and flexibility while still keeping an eye on him.

April 30, 2021Thank you so much for the kind words! We truly appreciate it!
The community was outstanding! They were wonderful, helpful, they helped us get to know the community. The staff and director went out of their way to introduce people to me. The community was calling to keep me updated. They moved my loved one's entire room by themselves. They worked well with Hospice for my loved one. This was all within 10 day period. They allowed us to come in and see our loved one each day they were there. The staff was very comforting to the family during our loved one's transition. They sent flowers and called the family to check on us after the passing of our loved one.
We purchased furniture for my father in law--- bed, mattresses, chest of drawers, linens, and a chair. He spent about 4 days there. They will not give us back the furniture. My husband has gone in person, emailed, called, and contacted the corporate office. His clothes were stolen when he was there also.

Funny - only the 5 star reviews seem to be published. Let’s see how long this one stays up. After not quite 3 months of considerable monitoring of a patient, it has become apparent that much, but not all, of the actual staff watching over the patients is woefully inadequate or undertrained or just plain apathetic. Their intent seems to be to turn people into vegetables, so there is little actual effort expended, giving them time to group chat and/or spend hours on their cellphones! Their program —anytime someone gives them any grief, or might actually require “care” turns out to be something they DON’T provide, instead sending the patient out to a psychiatric facility, at the patients expense, to turn them into the vegetables.

September 11, 2019We appreciate you taking the time to let us know your concerns. We value feedback and would love the opportunity to talk with you. We take great pride in providing quality care and oversight to our residents. Please feel free to reach out to our Executive Director, Kathy Rainwater-Roe to set up a time to discuss further.
After a difficult experience with our first placement for my mother at another facility, we moved her to Hope. The staff has been very caring, my mother loves the food, the facility is lovely and spotless and we couldn't be happier. I have a great sense of relief knowing Mom is in good hands. It is comparable in price to other facilities in the area. I am thankful Mom is able to be within 10 minutes of my home so I will be able to visit frequently! Thank you to A Place For Mom for recommending Hope and to [name removed] for being so supportive. It's a very emotional time and [name removed] felt like my best friend!

After several weeks of a hospital stay we recognized we were not able to bring our father home. We struggled with finding a place that would accept him due to his agitation and aggression. God answered our prayers when we were led to The Hope Center in Fayetteville, GA. They welcomed him with open arms and worked to make him feel at home and at ease. The staff is very engaging and reaches out to the families of their residents to ensure a smooth transition. We were so impressed with the level of care and the cleanliness of the facility that we didn’t hesitate to move our mother there a few weeks later when she expressed she wanted to be near our father so she could visit him daily. We’ve seen first hand the love they have for our parents and for our family. The facility is set up with villages based on resident needs and capabilities. This works wonderful for our parents. While our father is now advanced in his disease, our mother was diagnosed more than two years ago but remains “happy forgetful” as we call it. We know each parent is receiving the level of care needed for their stage of Alzheimer’s. Our mother is able to participate in activities, games, arts and crafts with the staff and residents and enjoys programs and services available to her. Getting her hair washed and set by a beautician on site is one highlight of her week. The staff accompanies her to visit with our father and keeps her safe and manages her medication. The full staff, from the front office, to the care givers, the maintenance and support staff even to the kitchen staff greet our parents by name with kind words and love. They’ve made themselves available to answer questions, discuss any concerns and always gives more than we ever expected in terms of love, kindness and care to our parents and our family. If you are looking for a clean, safe and loving place for a parent or relative, we challenge you to visit The Hope Center. We are certain you will not be disappointed.

I am truly overwhelmed by the caring and compassion that exists at Hope Center Memory Care in Fayetteville. Everyone goes above and beyond to provide care not only for the residents, but for the family as well. At Hope Center, the caring and professional approach, the individualized care plans that foster growth in the resident’s cognitive abilities, the care that encompasses the entire individual, and the multitude of activities that keep the residents engaged, has truly been a blessing for my Mom. She has spoken more in the last few weeks than she has in the last six years. I may not understand all she is talking about, however, that she talks and is more engaged is such a blessing. We actually sang some Christmas carols together last week! The fact that my mom smiles a lot now and that she seems truly happy is just priceless to me. I cannot thank everyone enough for all they have done for my family and I during a most difficult time and for so graciously answering my many questions. Also, I thank you for providing mom with the option of respite care during the crisis period when I could not adequately care for her at her home and prior to her transitioning to resident status. When I enter Hope Center Memory Care, I feel like I am home with family. I am forever thankful, grateful, and blessed to have been referred to Hope Center by someone I had never even met in person. Thank you all at Hope Center Memory Care of Fayetteville for truly living up to your Core Values.

My cousin would never have been able to move from Ohio to Georgia without the help of A Place For Mom and Rebekah/Hope Center Memory Care. They never gave up on us!!! My cousin is now being cared for by experienced, trained professionals. The Hope Center offers many activities as well as differentiated levels of care. Their goal is to care for the total individual- spiritually, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. The facility is clean and well maintained. I would recommend The Hope Center to anyone looking for the best care for their loved one. I am extremely satisfied with the care my cousin is getting. Thank you for putting my mind at ease. Anyone looking for assisted living for a loved one should tour The Hope Center. You will not be disappointed!

A Place for Mom has scored Hope Center Memory Care 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
