The staff members are all very friendly, and the rooms they provide for the resident are nice sizable rooms. They are sufficient and we would recommend the Linden House Assisted Living to others.

This community has a homey atmosphere. This is a small community and you just know everybody there. They have a small dining room and a large front porch with rocking chairs. There was a refrigerator in my husband's room and the food was very good. This is a clean well taken care of community!!

Orange, Virginia

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community provides residents the choice to continue to live their active lives while ensuring their care requirements are met. Seniors can use their free time as they wish while their meals are prepared by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and social activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between locations, many residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services can always be arranged for with independent care providers if desired. There are an assortment of benefits and expenses to keep in mind while deciding on an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are covered in your service plan: meals, housekeeping, internet access, move-in fee, wellness program, laundry, initial assessment fee, and transportation. The amenities associated with independent living include laundry service, security guards, private rental hall, beauty salon & barber shop, healthcare center, golf course, fitness center & swimming pool, and game/TV room.
