My mother seems to like Jubilation although they made some promises when initially visiting. We were persistent on of the promises and they granted them. The facility is nice and clean with lots of activities. They really need to help with seniors needing transportation to appointments. It would really be helpful. Iam around so I take them to their appointments. It is not assisted living so I guess you can only expect limited help. I am still trying to renovate and sale my mother's house so we are a little worried about her losing money.... Read more

I would say positive to all of the above. The only thing lacking is transportation to shopping. However, based on the experience we have had so far with Jubilation, we would recommend them to other families.

They check in on her, offer help when needed. Desk attendants are very friendly, staff helpful. I really like the variety of meals & desserts, and Eric is a great activities planner, as a past cruise ship event planner. I also love her apartment layout. A good value for the cost. Certainly better than comparable places in Northern VA.

September 5, 2024Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. We are very thankful for your feedback and thrilled your family member(s) love living at Jubilation!
Expensive but well worth the money. The fitness and entertainment I get here is outstanding. Food could be better but I haven't cooked since I moved here last April, except for occasional eggs, pizza or soup.

March 7, 2024Thank you so much, Barbara! We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review! You are wonderful :)
24/7 concierge is great. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. There are several different apartment sizes with varying layouts and costs. Amenities are great, but fees do add up. Most are included in monthly fees.

March 7, 2024Thank you, Susan! We are so fortunate to have you as a member! Love that you love living at Jubilation!
The staff at Jubilation are very warm and helpful, including the dining room attendants. You can call the front desk anytime for assistance with anything. The facility is 2 years old, and very modern and clean. I'm there every week, and am treated like I live there. The desk personnel and other residents are very friendly and accommodating, looking out for each other. The move-in process was fine. I like the food. I do recommend this facility. The amenities are super and it's perfectly located off the I95 Central Park Exit, close to shopping, Wegman's, Walmart, Cracker Barrel, and so many other places.

I wanted to meet other people my age and I liked the physical activities like pickle ball and bocce ball. I thought there would be line dancing and Zumba for more aerobic activities but found only chair exercises. So that was the only disappointment. If you hold more activities that appeal to the more active 55+ people, perhaps you have more active people joining. I consider myself fairly active so I participate in all the fitness activities but most and sadly these are more for those who are physically unable to do the more rigorous activities so you tend to attract more seniors in walkers, wheelchairs, the handicapped and over 85. Um not sure that is the audience you intended to attract. When guests come to visit or photographers are here, they never come when the dining halls are full or when we are having classes. Most photos are staged with no residents and not the community that actually live here.

June 21, 2023Thank you for review. We appreciate and value your opinion. As membership grows, so do the interests and talents of the community. We take your input seriously and will continue to evolve and make changes that we hope you’ll enjoy!
Jubilation is a very nice, brand new facility. When we toured there was barely anyone living there. It seemed like a place for those who did not want much interaction. The main reason my family member wanted to move was to have more social interaction, so it was just not the right fit.
Daily experiences change day to day, week to week. Depending on what activities are scheduled for members , our present health, and our own calendars .They are most helpful in anticipating what individual needs might be . Have been wonderful thru Covid CDC requirements in providing meals as needed to our apartment. Always willing to help with a maintenance issue, or answering any questions about billing, etc in a timely fashion. There is always something on the evening menu for dinner that we like. There is an extensive salad bar every evening if the entree is not what you want. We do not eat the offered breakfast as we choose to eat in our apartment. The entertainment director [name removed] is beyond our expectations. He was a Cruise Ship director for many years so comes to Jubilation with a wonderful background in entertainment. We have one of the bigger apartments and knew moving here it was going to be more than we wished we were paying. We signed a 3 year lease knowing what our costs are for the duration. At some point we may move to a small one after the 3 years.

From my first visit in November to present, I have felt like this is our forever home. The residents welcomed us and embraced us. We love the activities and have had quality people and fun events. The staff are first class, friendly, helpful and listen when we make suggestions.

Everyone is very friendly. I feel like they've gone above and beyond making my family member feel welcome. There are many activities throughout the day, and even more will becoming up as Spring comes and there are more opportunities to do things outside. She also tells me that the food is delicious.

A Place for Mom has scored Jubilation 9.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
