Only been at HH for slightly over a year but have found all the nurses and staff to be very friendly and helpful, always willing lend me a helping hand when I need it. I enjoy the many little features that are provided, which are not provided in other living environments. Every week a new menu for all the meals for the ensuing week, an Activities calendar the month with live entertainers at least every 2 weeks, exercise programs almost daily, games and social get togethers, and religious sessions for those who want them. In all, HH is organized to help the residents enjoy their stay. I almost forgot to mention the providing of transportation to medical appointments off campus. This has allowed me to sell my car and save money. The drivers are friendly and our chats have been enjoyable. Needless to say, I like HH and living here. It is now HOME to me.
Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line is a very spread out facility for independent living, but the section for assisted living is more condensed and tight knit. For independent living they offer a studio apartment, one bedroom or two bedroom apartment. They have tons of activities provided for residents to participate in. There is a huge indoor pool clubs, bistro bar etc. Tons to do. I would recommend Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line to others looking. It feels more home like and has beautiful surroundings.
For how they try to accommodate the residents, they really go above and beyond. The only thing that is difficult is that my mom can't see that well and the ovens are geared for handicapped people and it's digital and she can't read the numbers. Lot's of activities. They have things like bingo, but they also take them places weekly, like to the store, and the bank, and the doctors.

If you or your loved one desire the peace of mind of having housekeeping and chores taken care of while living life the way you want, you might consider the option of an Independent Living Community. Basic chores such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they see fit, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and interests. Typically comprised of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and more time can be spent with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies differ between communities, numerous residences allow cats and dogs as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with independent care providers if desired.
